  1. Use darkshard reapter crossbows? Or quarrler bits? Or outrider weapons?
  2. @Mayple and @Enoby, you all are totally right. Missed the spite revenant champion. I also think glade guard are mixed gender upon taking a closer look at GWs website. I dunno about the dreadspear/darkshards though. From images on the GW website I couldn't see anything that differentiated any gender, though maybe it is in the rules/fluff. Anywho, back to rumors!
  3. Pretty sure the Namarti Thralls are the first mixed gender unit. The 3 models on the right, including the standard bearer have much slimmer arms, have covered torsos, and less definition on their arm muscles . Also, it may just be me, but their heads look more feminine to me than the other heads, slightly more oval and less angular. I think this is a great movie. As an added plus the feminine characteristics are not overblown.
  4. That teaser was the window/back of the coach and then a side shot of the horses, then the front of the horses pulling it. NEW BLACK COACH. YESSSSSSSSSSS
  5. Quite awesome that you all are in on this together!
  6. you are probably going to have to go outside GW if you want a full hull, playmobil and 1/72 scale wooden ship models would be my bet. There are a couple of conversions floating around the sub of people that have used model pirate ships to convert up to AOS stuff. Or the Marienburg landship if you can find it.

    Arkhan the Black 1

the gold and bone looks great. what was the recipe for that gold?
  8. your casket is what I wanted to do during the end times but never got around to doing before I rage quit. I love it.
  9. The rumor engine with the little pet dragon thing is solved. It is on what looks like the champion of the medusa archer girls.
  10. Echoing a number of people, thanks for all the work, the site is amazing! In terms of feedback, I think a donation drive that let users customize their profiles on the left of their posts would be a nice reward without taking anything away from other people. Could have different levels that would let you do different things, like choose a rank from a different faction or allegiance, change the background color, add a signature, etc. What about a community shop that lets people sell things where either a portion of the sale goes to TGA (listing fee) or people in the community can use their talent to design scenario packs, tokens, 3d printer terrain files, etc. that are donated to the community store with profits going to TGA. Lastly, I've got the guy below. Anyone that pays 20 bucks towards the running of the site, I'll ship him to you (In the USA). If abroad we can figure out something for shipping.
  11. I saw your new pictures and the word lightening and was praying "please use blue flame or lightening flame on the swords" as i read the other comments then BAM you delivered! Can't wait to see it! I agree about the ones on fire being swung and the other ones being ignited or what have you. There is that new blog post by Thomas Lyons (I think?) on here about his duradin. fyreslayers, and overlords. he has the fyreslayers "igniting" on their skin in a molten lava sorta way. Seeing something similar with lightening would be great! Also, heads are chaos marauder heads with horns cut off?
  12. @StoneMonk, lol good question! I don't know the answer to that yet! In the one I'm working on there is a lot less general/character freedom. Everybody has to start with a necromancer as their general and will then have a chance to have them "transform" into a vampire or flesh eater ghoul king based on a choice they make in a scenario. Hopefully, the story in it is interesting enough to make up for those limitations! For a wider ruleset where players can be whatever alliance and hero they want, I'm not sure. Maybe some sort of title system that then gives them the option to become more powerful or something. I think this developer diary on the new 40k roleplay that Ulisses is working on is a unique take on the issue we are talking about, http://www.ulisses-us.com/wrath-glory-designer-diary-december-2017/.
  13. @StoneMonk loving the discussion as well. The more I thought about it the more I don't know if I stand by my other comment anymore. I was coming from a place of, lets take a Necromancer, its kind of silly if he has a wight king and 2 vampires following him around. Those dudes are more powerful than him lore and statwise, why in the world would they let him be in charge? It also kind of sucks that if your warband becomes more elite/powerful (lets say two varghulfs, 2 vampire lords, and 12 grave guard) and the general is really weak in combat/spell casting. HOWEVER There are a bunch of narrative ways to make it make sense. Just like you said, his deeds on the battlefield or as a commander give him influence and the others trust/want to follow him. Or the owe a blood debt to him or whatever. HOWEVER Part of me also thinks the Necromancer would get some better armor or spells or abilities or something as he gains influence through his actions on the battlefield. Maybe its stuff he loots of the dead or his warband gives him. This may be addressed in the relic system you mention. You talk about the warband being the RPG character, I totally love that but still feel like as the "character" progresses, the general is gonna gain something beyond just influence. Pretty much just a bunch of rambling here. But what I do know is that I totally agree about not getting super granular. For me, at least, I don't want to be altering stats of every member of the warband. The general? I'm OK with altering there stats or abilities or something. But not for the 4 different handgunners I have in the warband.
  14. @StoneMonk, interested to see this when it comes out. I totally get not wanting to get down in the details enough to have each model or character progress or grow. However, I think there may become an issue where a weak hero grows in renown and starts to have a warband that may be a little "much" for that type of hero. This is something I kept thinking about when starting my narrative campaign and decided to work in a way for the players to "level up" their general into a more powerful hero through a narrative choice that happens in a scenario mid way through. I'm sure there will be enough freedom within the rules for someone to can this to how they want it the general/heros to grow.
  15. Sigh, I made about 30 or 40 of these guys back during the End Times, they promptly sold off my army back when I was raging. Sadly, very few pictures of them remain.
  16. which formation are you using?
  17. Finally got one on paper that I'm not embarrassed of. I'll probably try to draw one that looks like a 40k titan and one that looks like @Aginor 's comment. In my totally arbitrary daydream, I see the one below as a giant castle type of deal, one with four legs and a "battleship" shape more of a fort, and then the bipedal one a scout or outpost. @WarbossKurgan, I like the one you posted. I struggle with how it would be efficient at anything though. Those legs are so short compared to what is on top, it couldn't go over anything other than a pancake without tipping over I feel.
  18. Not sure if this is the right location for this, someone move me if i'm in the wrong spot. Since the last story came out of Malign Portens, I can't get cogforts out of my head. It doesn't help that I am on book 3 of the Mortal Engine books and the trailer for the movie came out not too long ago. Anyway, I keep doodling up what I think cogforts may look like. So far all my doodles are trash but I think I might finally hit on something close to what my mind sees later tonight. My doodles are below. I'll also add the Mortal Engines trailer and some art of "traction cities" from the books. Has anyone else been sketching or drawing some moving forts? Mortal Engines trailer: Some art of traction cities
  19. looks good, blood warriors plus blightking bits?
  20. I think it looks better from the front. A side shot would help me decide how I feel. I think it is something to do with the boxy lines on the front half. However, the whole project is amazing and you should be stoked to get it to this point! I think if you go on to something else then come back to it, you'll get the inspiration to make it how you want it.
