  1. I'd like that too, but it seems unlikely that they would have pulled the dragons/wardancers/eagles only to put them back in. I'm not inclined to read much into GG being unavailable, it's probably a production problem. If there is a significance to it I doubt it's a good one. GW could surprise us but there's no indication they have any plans for Wanderers and the direction has consistently been making them less attractive/playable. I would be surprised if they scrap the faction altogether but seems marginally more likely than some sort of surprise release. Happy to be wrong though.
  2. These look great, some very nice non-metallic metals and I think you've done a good job de-40k-ing the components as much as possible.
  3. I am boring and use Vajello deep, olive and light greens. Or make them autumnal. Until GW give us back our forest dragons I am attempting to convert idoneth eels to fill the role:
  4. Love your writing almost as much as your conversions.
  5. Look like a good start, I like the autumnal colour scheme on that one guy.
  6. It's always going to be a risk putting so many points into one model. You've got most of your points locked up in a 30 wound model . That's a bad deal on paper and that's the trade off. But if things go well it deletes several units wholesale per turn. And your opponent will be so focused on it the other 800 points of models can do whatever they like. Of course this is speculation on my part, I'd love to hear from someone who's played it.
  7. How many wound is this thing gonna put out each turn on average? 25? 30? And it's size means it should be able to engage multiple units at once, wiping them out at a stroke. Add in the -3 to casters within 18 and this guy seems pretty solid. Of course, with the size of its base if you misuse the ability to hold it in reserve small fast enemy units could quickly block of the table making it impossible to place so you end up with all those points sitting doing nothing while the puny remainder of your force gets slaughtered.
  8. So of the Darkling Coven's universal battleline which is the best? Darkshards? Dreadspears? Bleakswords? For context I'm specifically looking for a small chaff unit to take in a mixed Order force. I'm not expecting much from a unit of 10 but which one is gonna survive longest and maybe do a bit of damage? Or are units of 10 just a big mistake?
  9. Currently in the process of kit-bashing eels with terradons to turn them into dragons. Actually seems to work pretty well, with a bit of shaping the sockets for the eel's fins can easily accomodate wings. Anyone else tried any weird conversions with their Idoneth?
  10. Some really nice conversions in there, I approve of chariots pulled by stags.
  11. It's nice to see I'm not the only one who likes to use cheap toys in their AoS conversions, I congratulate you, your work is inventive and well-executed and I look forward to seeing more when you return home.
  12. That ghost ship is an extraordinary piece of work.
  13. Brilliant creative conversions, a nautical theme can be difficult to execute but you've knocked it out the park.
  14. Some stunning work there, looking at your armies is inspiring.
  15. Your rats have fire, they have energy, they pop, pop, pop!
  16. This is a great tool, had a bit of a play around for some Wanderer's wish fulfilment. The one suggestion I would make is to add the ability to upload an image. Warscrolls are always better with pictures.
