  1. Hi, this will be a big one (actually like most of my projects). Here I have a project that combines most of the aelf factions. Some of this stuff was actually in blogs before. Fanmade Battletomes latest release: Brotherhood of Korhil current Version
  2. Hi Guys, I actually had this project for quite some time here in the TGA-Community (august 2017) as a blog (with 1041 Views at the moment) Actually don't know, if blogs don't get much attention. So, perhaps I should do a thread here to. The most recent list of models will still be in the description of my Blog What happened until now. (in 2 parts 2017 and 2018) The Project actually started as a Ghyran Freeguild Projekt (before Generals Handbook 2017 arrived) The list was actually planned like this: Heroes Battlemage (100) Battlemage (100) Excelsior Warpriest (80) War Altar Of Sigmar (250) Warrior Priest (80) - Sigmarite Warhammers Warrior Priest (80) - Sigmarite Greathammer Warrior Priest (80) - Sigmarite Warhammer & Shield Witch Hunter (60) - Pistol & Silver Greatsword Sigismund (100) Freeguild General - Great Weapon Schwester Christina (100) Freeguild General - Great Weapon Freeguild General (100) - Stately War Banner Battleline 20 x Flagellants (160) - Devoted of Sigmar Battleline 20 x Flagellants (160) - Devoted of Sigmar Battleline 10 x Freeguild Archers (100) 10 x Freeguild Archers (100) 10 x Freeguild Archers (100) 20 x Freeguild Guard(160) - Speer, Schild 20 x Freeguild Guard (160) - Speer, Schild 20 x Freeguild Guard (160) - Schwert, Schild 10 x Freeguild Guard (80) - Hellebarde 10 x Sisters of the Watch (220) - Wanderers Battleline (Waywatcher General) 10 x Sisters of the Watch (220) - Wanderers Battleline (Waywatcher General) 6 x Demigryph Knights (320) - Lance and Sword - Free Peoples Battleline Units 20x Freeguild Greatswords (300) Most parts should be an Ghyran Order, called "order of the yellow rose" at this state, an monastery with Ranger optics. In the starting time. I created those Miniatures: Free Guild General (later Loremaster) Freeguild Archers (later Gladeguard) Freeguild Guard Battlemage With some other WIPs in this year: Greatswords Freeguild Guard Do to some switching between projects. The project was than interrupted until May 2018.
  3. Hello Everyone! My name is Henin and I hail from the lands of the Tomb Kings! If you have not heard, there is an incredible project going on for tomb kings where the TK are getting their own fan-made, unofficial Battletome, complete with artwork and lore as well as some unofficial additional rules put together by the community to play for fun with friends: http://theendlessdeserts.blogspot.com/p/what-are-endless-deserts_8.html I have come to love the new world of AoS thanks to this project (personally). I may not be completely happy with the lore but I enjoy the game and love the dynamics and creative encouragement it has. With that said, I keep hoping to see a similar event from the Bretonnian community, but have yet to see this. (based on my research, I could be wrong and if I am please point me in that direction [seriously do please]) My brother and I started playing and collecting warhammer models some time before the End Times began. When they began the changes, me and my brother were hit hard since we had barely just finished getting the hang of the game and then suddenly it does a 180. All our efforts were crushed especially since both our armies seemed to be thrown out by GW (Him playing Brets and me playing TK). For me it is not simple to remember and learn such a complicated game as it was in warhammer 8th edition. Though, eventually I gave AoS a chance and came to love it, but honestly it was thanks to the efforts in the TK community that I now came to love it. I really want to somehow do the same for my brother and the Brets. I want to try to put together some kind of team and put effort into creating something like what the TK have for their own game for fun! To support the community. Put together an AoS Bretonnian Battletome with all kinds of fun stuff for all to use and enjoy~ So please, if this is something you are hoping to see, and/or have something to offer such as artistic skills, game knowledge, photography skills with epic models and anything at all that can help get this project in motion, please comment or message me. I want to see what the community has to say and if their is any desire for this to happen. Thoughts? Opinions? Ideas? (be sincere please) Best, -Henin
  4. This is a collection of projects, which I partly started since 2017, but didn't do much since. Partly they are opponents of other projects. The first post is a collection of the lists. Later a short review of the years 2017 and 2018 will follow. Skaven (Clan Machi) Nurgle Darkoath Khorne Slaanesh
  5. Hi guys, I open another project up. Since I have soul wars I have some nighthaunt models (actually nothing build yet because of other stuff, but will prepare this thread that I can use it for them as well) but I also started Flesh Eater Courts with the Carrion Empire Box set and bought some stuff there too. In fact, at least I started building the flesh Eater Courts models. My actual models (when build) should look like this. Abhorrant Ghoul King on Royal Zombie Dragon Abhorrant Archregent Crypt Haunter Courtier Crypt Ghast Courtier Varghulf Courtier 20 x Crypt Ghouls 20 x Crypt Ghouls 20 x Crypt Ghouls 6 x Crypt Horrors 6 x Crypt Horrors Chalice of Ushoran Corpsemare Stampede Cadaverous Barricade perhaps I will buy 1-2 more start collecting boxes as well for a Abhorrant Ghoul King on Royal Terrorgheist and some Crypt Flayers The only special model I can show is my Varghulf. Those of you, who know my Twitter Account, will already know him. I used mostly the parts of the plastic Daemon Prince.
  6. Hey fellow Maggotkin! I (almost entirely) finished painting my first model! This Putrid Blightking is lacking a base banner color and a satin varnish, but beyond that he's basically done! I think I'll go back and touch up his apron when I paint the other PBKs, though. Feel free to ask any questions about the paint job or basing. I learned a great technique from my local GW manager: to get cork board edges to firm up and look less jagged, apply PVA glue to the edges. For the list, this one utilizes a Beastmen battalion: Leaders: Great Unclean One: General, Tome of a Thousand Poxes, Grandfather's Blessing, Favoured Poxes, Blade and Bell configuration Lord of Blights: Rustfang Festus the Leechlord: Blades of Putrefaction Great Bray-Shaman Battlelines: Ungors x10 Ungors x10 Ungors x10 Putrid Blightkings x10 Other Units: Centigors x20 5x Tuskgor Chariots x1 Endless Spells: Soulsnare Shackles Battalions: Pestilent Throng The strategy this list employs involves sending the Centigors and chariots flying across the battlefield on turn 1, pinning the opponent in his or her deployment zone while your army takes up advantageous positions. When near the GUO and GB-S, the beastmen units get +6" to their movement, meaning the chariots will move 16" and the Centigors will move 20". The latter can run and charge natively, and the former can use the Feculent Gnarlmaw, since the battalion gives them the Nurgle keyword. The other gift it provides is that, upon death, all the beastmen in this list will "explode" on a 2+, dealing one mortal wound to all enemy units within 7". So after pinning the opponent in place early, the chariots will splatter a MW over hopefully a few units. The Centigors have an ability that gives them +1 to hit in exchange for being +1 to hit for opponents. The downside of that can be addressed by the Lord of Blight's command ability. If BoP goes off, they do MWs on 5+ with 4 attacks each, for a total of 81 attacks that reroll wounds on a turn in which they charged, likely wiping out whatever they hit. The Ungors are 60 pts for a unit of 10 and are needed for the battalion; they just try to screen and be annoying. The GB-S can use his Devolve spell to move enemy units out of cover and into combat, if desired. The Blight Kings and LoB move into the thick of things and contest for central objectives. Let me know what you think of the list and the painted up PBK! Next time I'll offer up another competitive list and hopefully some more pictures of the rest of the unit.
  7. Hi Guys, after my hint in the Chamber Thread I will show you my painted collection of Stormcast Eternals. Stormhost is Celestial Vindicators They started as the Chamber of Bladestorms but after what happened in All-Gates I wanted to decide the story myself and created my own chamber, the "Blazenhearts" I also wrote some fragments of story but after I wrote them in german I would have to translate them first to show them here (actually I postet the german once in my same named project in the GW-Fanworld. But here are the pictures (I have painted 51 of 200 miniatures). 50 of them were painted in about 2 month. Hope you enjoy. Lord Celestant on Dracoth Lord Celestant Lord Castellant Lord Heraldor Liberators 1 Liberators 2 Judicators 1 Yelena Stormheart (Judicator Prime 2) She should be a female Judicator Prime (or Judicatress Prime), but after I used a male model she isn't as thin as the model GW showed in Warhammer Community for Shadespire) Retributors Decimators Vanguard Hunters 1 Vanguard Raptors 1 (Vanguard Raptor Prime "Ramir") Aetherwing 1
  8. So today I had a lot of fun painting up my vampire to sit on her zombie dragon Need a good surname for her but I'm getting there. Then it'll be onto actually creating some background for my soulblight army. She's already going to have the nickname of 'the bat queen' for employing large use of her bat-like gargoyle followers (counts as fell-bat conversion, pic below) and of course regular bats (gonna have to get myself bat swarms just because they can be useful for protection) She will also have a horse mounted model that will be painted up later but I'm proud of how she's turned out. Good fun applying the blood too obviously she's just a messy eater.
