michu
They weren't. They were regular goblins for Orcs & Goblins army. But who knows what will appen now? Both Ogors and Gitmobs share mongolian aesthetic, so maybe...? Edited September 14, 2019 by michu

Ogres are getting a new book soon so maybe... No, they were an O&G unit.

See, stuff like this keeps me looking forward to the days when the battletomes are all out, and GW starts focusing on getting everything beautiful new sculpts, without a piece of resin or metal in sight. Harpo2
Oh I was thinking Chaos Dwarfs, the Mongolian theme of wolf riders and the fact that Ogers had Gnoblars got me confused.
Nezzhil
Could be an Ogor + Grots Mongol Horde theme army? Like Gloomspite Gits are the gloomy style and the Orruk the classic destruction style...
Aeryenn
Warband I'm so far least interested in. 😊

That would give more options for Mawtribe armies: BCR as elite heavy cavalry, Mawtribes as elite infantry and Grots for horde light cavalry.
Harpo2
Grots and Orgors were popular combination in early AoS, maybe GW wants make it into a more formal army.
MarkK
An updated Gitmob with wolves in this style with chariots and war machines would easily get me to start a new army, excellent miniatures
JackStreicher
Wow...Goblin Wolf Riders with the exact same style as the old ones *Yawn*. GW‘s new release politic appears to be „and here more MEH for you“ 🤷🏼♂️ Edited September 14, 2019 by JackStreicher 11
obaobaboss
Now I have hope to see the greenskinz as a faction again. Edited September 14, 2019 by obaobaboss
michu
@JackStreicher maybe it's meh for you. Some people are really happy (me included) that there is still chance for Gitmobs, And it shows real potential for a remake of dropped CoS units in the future.

Cèsar de Quart
The updated style with the old aesthetic, beautiful. They did this more or less with the new Ogre Tyrant, same style but updated into the Age of Sigmar.

SilentSentinel
I'm moderately whelmed. As much as i love grots these don't really fit the line "A warband unlike any you've seen before". Other than the fact that they're all on mounts Was expecting something different/interesting like Mollogs mob, going to have to wait and see how they play i suppose. It's good news for fans of the original O&G army though.

madmac
I would never do a full goblin army, but I'll be grabbing these gits for sure. Really digging Beastgrave so far.

This is more than "Yawn" and lots of wasted production resources. Of course there will be the 1 out of a million person why screams: oh my god, i always wanted green goblins on wolves, but the other 99.9% will be in "Meh" mode. It's the same with Gotrek. You have 3 Fireslayers player worldwide and they are hyped but the rest of us gets a "meh" from all this 2 5 14

What a weird take, especially when the reaction here (and elsewhere) has been very largely positive. Not every release will be or needs to be attractive to you.
