Also they are said to be mechanical specialists. So I could see a cavalry unit, a warmachine and a hero or two. On the other hand we could get none of those things. As for the Dominion situation. I check every day to see if the coins are still there. If those sell out, I'll have a decision to make but until then there's no rush. I can't be the only person to think like that, can I? Warboss Gorbolg Posted June 23, 2021 Share Posted June 23, 2021 As a 20-year+ collector of O&G/Destruction, I've been surprisingly uninspired so far. It's mostly the hobgrotz. They just feel unnecessary to me. If we were getting new Gitmob instead of hobgrotz I would probably be all in, or even just more orruks I would prefer. I also don't love the lower body length/proportions of the orruks. As a result, I'll probably sit on the sidelines until we see the whole range. The breaka-boss just seems silly to me, and not in the fun Gloomspite way. This is one of my favorite anatomical representations of any orc across all of any fantasy settings and I'm absolutely thrilled Gdubs took the route they did for Krules!! Shout out to the artist(s) who designed them! If anyone knows, please share! Im almost postive they did some of the new gloomspite sculpts as well. You can really see it in the faces. Aelves have long sexy legs, go play aelves. 😜😄 just playing. I can not wait to get these guys under the brush and on the table. Oh god, yes... And those tiny ankles! Had several Griffin models break at that exact spot. But some armies were just amazing and creative. Hated their take on Dwarves though. I hear rumors of big croc-dragons, bat-scorpions. My small gloomspite-esque mind just looks at my wallet, “where dat money gone?” i hope they get some co-op rules/battalion with gloomspite as well in the future. Their styles contribute each other greatly. Will try them with all my destruction armies. I’m so excited i just went to my local games workshop and said, do me 2 of dat orky starter boxes please. With a proper boss we can start stabbin and chuck them explody boxies. For now, put a killaboss near them so that they litterally don’t give a rats ass when they die and start chuckin them nades. Lord Krungharr Posted June 28, 2021 Share Posted June 28, 2021 The Kruelboyz are growing on me, I think the models in real life will impress much more than the preview pics (like Kragnos, MUCH cooler in real life, even his eyebrow-horns). I also think their shooty poison weapons will be a terror on the table top, and I really hope they can ally with the Gitz, and that the Troggoth has the Troggoth keyword to be allies with my Ogors. If they don't get their own tome, they'll probably be a whole Greenskinz tome with the Ironjawz, Bonesplitterz and Kruelboyz. Seems like that could be a bit bloated of a tome, but I guess there really aren't that many Warclans units as is are there? Seems like 10-15 total. Rather than clans those are social divisions, which could point to some units. I wonder if we gonna see more beast-breaakaz beyond the boss and other kind of siege weapons they will have beyond the balista/crossbows.
