    The Troggoth Hag is definitely a piece I believe every Troggoth army needs. It's amazing as a model and amazing on the table. I rarely do such detailed eyes and faces but when working on a model that is the centrepiece of your army you want to spend some extra time just to make it special. Weekly Hobby Update : 8-9-17

I ran my first ever tournament this last weekend gone. Here's a bunch of pics of all the scenery I built, and the event I organised out in NZ in Welly. Probably sunk about 1000hrs or so of my time into it over the last 3 or 4 months . I had a little bit of help from Nathan Smith the manager of GW Wellington, but I did most of it myself. Mawkrusha Showcase!

Hey guys and gals, Check out my video showcase for my Megaboss on Mawkrusha! This is the perfect centre-piece mini for any Ironjawz or destruction force and I had loads of fun assembling and painting it. I’m pretty happy with the colour scheme I went with but I always love to hear C&C’s. This model looks great on the tabletop or just on display, so it’s definitely one I can recommend if you are on the fence about getting one for your own force!

I'm actually writing further parts of my background (mostly from Yelenas standpoint) and I'm struggeling with one point after I think I miss some information about Stormcast Eternals. I don't know where to post it, after this forum doesn't have a loresection, so I use my blog for this. I have thought about, that some Stormcasts had come to my own continent (not through a realmgate) and now where trapped there until opening a gate to Azyr or dieing in combat. And they found surviving humans.

I've made a start to the Endrinriggers, pre-shade stage. I quite like the balance, keeping the majority navy with the cream accent. I'm going to use the nuln oil gloss on the blue armour just to give them a bit more polish than the normal troops.

Expeditions of mediocrity

The battle the blasted wastes-Maiden voyage 1

The expedition arrived in the Blasted Wastes to find a Council of Blood and a murderhost of strangely shiny grey Khorne Daemons.  Battle began after Khorne took the first turn and 1st turn charged a unit of Blood crushers into my right flank Arkanauts. The rest of his army moved up the board, mostly in range of my cannons and thunderers.  A misplaced charge from my endrinriggers caused them to be charged and mauled by a blood thirster, who i shot to death later on in the game.

The maiden voyage

So i thought I would begin by showing you all my 2000 point, newly painted army. Bad lighting and not so good painting but you will get the gist of it. Essentially i started off AOS with BCR when they first came out. I loved them, played them at 2 tournaments and didn't get very far. Theeen overlords came about and i was all in, sold my BCR and poured all my mediocrity into them.  So! Painting bits and pieces

Treelord Ancient - Autumn

Just a quick update to show the finished Treelord Ancient with the autumnal leaves/beard now in context. I'm quite pleased with the results, and this guy really stands out from the normal Treelord that's painted in nice, fresh Spring greens. Note on the cloth - this light blue colour is used to match in with Alarielle's dress, in case you were wondering why such a colour departure from the rest of the model  Questions/comments/feedback welcome.

Road to Nova Open 2017 : Part 2

Hey Everyone! There are only four more full weeks until Nova Open and my excitement is growing!  While this is not my first Major Wargaming event, Adepticon 2017 holds that title, it is my first Nova Open and the excitement isn't any less.  However, I have been much more relaxed about my preparations for the event.
