That looks like a bike handle. At the very least the same braking mechanism as what is commonly found on one.

Those Art books look pretty dope, may just have to drop by and pick up both.

Look at the upper right corner of the image. The diamond grip pattern starts again. This pretty much rules out a bike handle, looks to be a flamethrower, chemical sprayer, or power weapon of some kind and the upper portion is where the opposite hand grips.

Quite awhile back, before Ironjawz were released,  there were rumors of a dual tank buster,  kommando kit.

I don't think so. I can't remember how it was handled for the 40k 8th edition release (that was also a 2 week preorder) but generally we have the preorder listings for the following week leaked by now as GW stores and 3rd party retailers would have them.

Pretty sure you're right on this.  If memory serves, we had 40k, then the release day it was Vandus, Khul, Thunder & Blood and then the week after some more primaris marines.  Don't think it's a 100% fixed format, but I'd be surprised if we got anything this weekend as it'd mean stores can't focus on the new AoS bits

Yes that sounds right.  Plus thinking about it, it would be rather odd to have a release in the middle of a preorder as both weeks orders would be dispatching at the same time and doubling up on delivery costs. 

If the format does hold then I guess we could expect to see a small 40k or Specialist release on the 30th and a ramp up on either the Sacrosanct or Nighthauntr previews on the Community that week.

Think you're right.  I reckon we could see house Cawdor and the Van Saar weapons going up for pre-order on the 30th, possibly with a 40k release alongside.  That said it was announced that there would be a battletome released in June (can't remember which or if it were both), so we could have that in addition to something else.

What I'm finding a bit strange is that everything has pretty much gone quiet on the community site, we know there are more units to be revealed including a couple of epic looking characters and there's another week and a half before Soul Wars actually lands.

Ah I hadn't heard they had said there would be a battletome in June. I suppose if the Nighthaunt tome went up for preorder with the Mortarch on the 30th then I they could say they kept to that. I'll light a candle and hope for the best so I can give GW more money

AoS open day on release day so they may be holding onto some reveals for then

First, everything they shown so far is up for pre-order, including the Mymourn Banshees, the only unit not in the Soul Wars box.

Second, if Soul Wars releases in a similar fashion to Dark Imperium (and why would it not), then we have 2 week of pre-order, release and then 2 weeks after that the second wave of release.

Third, they will space out the new releases into multiple waves. Nighthaunt for sure, and I would bet on it, that SCE too.

What we can expect in the next weeks are announcements like next battletomes (SCE & Nighthaunt duh), mortarchs, multi part kits,

Maybe I'm saying nosenses but they changed the banner on the warhammer community of age of sigmar articles. It was the piece of nurgle vs stormcast and now we have that piece with stormcast, khorne and the rumored darkoath and the "robot-humans". Surely means nothing but it's exactly that piece of the art where u can see clearly guys from armys that now doesn't exist

I'm feeling the same way. I'm not sure why we had 2 weeks of teasers for AOS 2.0 and it has basically been silent since Saturday. 40k hasn't gotten much either.

Hmmmm two interesting things :
 - I don't see this at all (IP in France) with the same URL. I see a video that says "Preorder Soul Wars"
- I don't really see any Darkoath or mechanical humans. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting what I see in the image.

Anyway, I think GW has been really quite lately because they prepare a huge announcement. Typical "Quiet Before the Storm" approach. They fed us with a lot of teasers, now we're beginning to wonder what's going on, and soon I believe the massive announcement will hit

The ‘Darkoath’ I’m pretty sure are just Khorne guys (they have red armour, some have khorne symbols in their hair etc) but there’s definitely a new human design on the left, fighting the chaos knight.

I see him(her?) looks like they have a roman gladiator type helm on, as well as round shields.

I think I read it some pages back when that ilustration was shown. The guy in middle of both horsed knights seems like the chieftain darkoath type (without shirt, shoulder armor with horns, rounded metal shield...) and the guys fighting with him and a bit left with that knight seems like gladiators aesthetic and maybe are new humans.

All of this are things that I read, and for me makes sense as I dont fix those models to anything known
