Doko
So delayed and no points changes.....guess they are too much focused doing marines overpowers and forget balance their other game We have decided to withhold any changes to Pitched Battle profiles in this update because of the reduced number of games being played around the world and, therefore, the reduced amount of feedback and results from events that would follow them. i cant believe how they can spit us this nonsense when 40k have the same covid problems but got points changes Edited January 25, 2021 by Doko

Overread
4 minutes ago, Doko said: So delayed and no points changes.....guess they are too much focused doing marines overpowers and forget balance their other game The community article linked above specifically mentions that they didn't do point adjustments purely because there haven't been enough games for them to get enough proper feedback from in order to really feel justified in making point changes at this stage. Don't forget all the recent marine changes are a new edition - the board reset and wiped clean all done before Corona too (at least in design). The FAQ are made on live data; but that hasn't happened over the last year in any shape nor form. 2
yukishiro1
Saying they didn't have the data to do points changes is a bit of a joke when they had no trouble updating them for 40k. The real translation of that is: "We were too busy doing other things and didn't want to bother." The FAQs bear this out in that they don't actually change anything significant. Not a single nerf to any of the oppressive factions - absolutely astoundingly, KO Barak Zilfin can still do all their tricks, and the only thing they thought to FAQ to say you can't do is something practically nobody was actually doing (dismounting an arkanaut company after flying high in the hero phase - nobody cares about this). Also, despite the fact that they claim to have FAQs for "every faction," they've only put ones up for about 7. Presumably they are still being uploaded, since we don't even have the Morathi one that they made a big deal about...but it's so typical GW in terms of sheer incompetence. And, if we're to judge by KO, Lumineth, Tzeentch etc...there aren't going to be significant changes to anything else either. Finally, despite claiming they aren't changing points values...the Nighthaunt tome actually DOES raise the points values of several units back to what they were before GHB2020. This is presumably just a sloppy error in that whoever updated the document forgot to remove the points values that were in it before - but they did update them to January 2021, bizarrely. So right now Nighthaunt actually DID see points increases. This is such typical, disappointing GW. So incompetent.
PrimeElectrid
They delayed the winter update by more than a month to tell us we get nothing on a flimsy pretext that doesn’t hold up to any scrutiny? That’s a bold move Cotton. Edit: The advantage is that we can’t play for another 6 months anyway so it’s not like it matters. yukishiro1
You can tell a lot of work went into "a comprehensive set of FAQs" that people spot extremely obvious, sloppy errors in within 5-10 minutes of their release. Not least of which they didn't even actually upload all of them. Unless these are all of them, and the "comprehensive set of FAQs" only actually includes about 1/3 of the armies in the game? The cultists, Warqueen and Darkoath Chieftain should have marks of chaos to match the rest of the book, heck everything in the book should have a mark, all the pitiful warcry warscrolls as well. They posted a metawatch article not long ago showing how KO just blasts all other armies apart followed by Tzeentch by a completely bonkers margin, and then change nothing at all in the big FAQ. That is absolute dogs--- Nope nothing can be concluded from this limited dataset at all. Edited January 25, 2021 by Scurvydog 4 1

yukishiro1
Enough data to do "Metawatch" articles hyping the competitive side of the game, but not enough data to know that Kroak is a joke at 320 or that Barak Zilfin WLV Spell-in-a-Bottle is oppressive. Even by GW's normal standards, this is blatantly insulting to the intelligence of their players. 9

Doko
Yes,i allways have been a gw fanboy, but betwen : -the joke of fyreslayers dont getting nothing in 6 years but slanesh and lumineth get huge releases only months after his first release -increase in price befor brexit so they gonna rdy when come.......but then we get lumineths with the new again increased prices and now too the new warbands. -40k got his faq in time but aos was delayed -when we get our faq have 0 points and almost 0 changes. It isnt liying if we says that this faq is 100% useless and as nothing -we got a huge lie in our face saying they havent data, when they post data months ago,we players have huge data but a million company havent them. And meanwhile for 40 k faq have huge changes to every faction and points changes for every faction This is imposible to defend even for gw fanboys as me
Ragest
I guess they had no data for giving some artifacts to Idolators. Well, at least the sub-faction is less shameful now

I reread article and, well... Quote In particular, you’ll want to pay special attention to the Broken Realms: Morathi errata, which among other things brings a massive boon to Slaves to Darkness armies. You can now take whole armies of mortals from the wastes of the Varanspire, including Battleline units using the amazing Warcry models. So its just Cultist and only in Idolators Just now, Ragest said: I guess they had no data for giving some artifacts to Idolators.
