Shadowspear was 2 existing armies, You're suggesting a box with 2 brand new armies. I don't think GW would be that generous. I was very suprised Ossiarch Bonereapers was in a box for their release, but then again, only half of the plastic for them (3 half sprues + 1 hero) was new models, the other 3 half sprues were old (morghasts)

I'm afraid if we do see some "value" box for these new armies it will follow the Sisters of Battle level of value. where a $210 USD box has 2 frames of plastic + a hero (1 of those frames being 2 duplicate half frames...not my fave). Yes it had book and dice, and yes the models are fantastic and the sprues are crammed, but I still have a hard time calling it a "value" box at that price point.

CSM hadn't had new models in eons. It was 100% new models on both sides. I don't think there is a big difference between new army and 100% new models/old army.

Never understood why they renamed acolytes. Poisoned wind globadiers was a great name!!! I remember going into GW and when I was a kid and there would be 10 kids on each side in learning games using a single unit each and one player   would have 10 acolytes running around  the board causing mayhem!

Well, poisonwind globadeers described the unit, which isn't something GW likes to do.

Now Vaenömcurse hatebringers would fit. One distorted word that almost has to do with the unit, and one random superflues word that describes nothing.

Man, I was planning to buy a lot of minis for my army but the way GW is hyping up adepticon makes me nervous

what if they show something that I like more than my actual project? (GW show just a tilbit or something please)

I just hope the next thing isn't a dual box, those are cool but if you don't like half of the box and can't find someone who want it without the hassle of going online to look for it you are just eating all the price just for one half. It's a cool idea but I think they are overdoing it, not to mention the time you have to wait to get the exclusive heroes if didn't get the box before it  sold out

Aside from Behemat, what could GW have in store this time? maybe another SC chamber to fight agaisnt the assault of Azyr? a book for that like the chaos one? the entire lumineth range? On the 40k side I can see them showing Ragnar primaris vs orks or something like that but the AoS side I'm not too sure

Maybe an sculpt update for Cities & Warclans using the Azyr assault as a base for a dual box?

They'll probably reveal the rest of the Lumineth units and officially announce Sons of Behemat, if they actually have re-sculpted things for Seraphon as well they'll show it off there. On the 40k side of things I thinks it's a safe bet they reveal the new Ghazghkull Thraka model and probably have the models for the new AdMech units there for people to look at. Other than that I have no idea what they might have in store for us.

Ghaz will be shown before Adepticon. Adepticon is the end of March, the book that Ghaz is coming with us due out in March, so it’ll be out or at least up for preorder before Adepticon.

A dual army box for new factions is now possible.

Some facts:

- the pattern of dual army box is now well known. It seems that the attempt to do a big box (essentially big in price 😉 ) like the The Blood of the Phoenix didn't get the success of other normal dual army boxes. So, it is more likely that we get a box equivalent to 2 SC! like other dual army boxes (DAB)

- The SoB (not sister of battle, SOns Of Behemats 😉 ) is probably  an  IK army for AoS. The pattern is also well known: a big kit (IK class) , allowing several builds and armaments, and some other more little guys (Armiger class). (Maybe the gargant can play this role, but I expect not). Plus eventually some other normal size guys (wizzards?etc..)...

- a 100% new DAB is possible as there were some precedent. Main example is Shadowspear.

- a box with new giant has a precedent: Forgebane. This  DAB introduced the Armiger warglaive which later invited customers to expand the collection with IK. It can be a smart move to make a Forgebane like DAB: most people will buy then the big Behemats at full price to get the full army!

- DAB are like a spark to ignite sales: DAB disappear in a blink of an eye. Then those players hit the table with some WIN, the other players buy the same army at full price. It is the OBR story lol.

- SoB is not a normal army (sales wise): you have to buy some big boxes. Only big boxes. If you already have the intermediate guys, the pills are easier to swallow 😉 . This is a good way to ignite the sales. (see the point above)

I won't be surprised if GW decided to go the DAB route for a Lumineth/Behemat launch. In fact, I'd be (a bit) surprised if they didn't 😎

Adepticon is going to be big does not mean it’s going to be big for AoS specifically. True that Lumineth and Sons are probably expected for that time, but a big chunk will be taken by Warhammer media or however it’s called: tv series, cartoons and whatever. They mentioned black library so we may see more about the Crime series? Or maybe a new series announced?
Warcry would be a hint of next season as this summer they may publish a new starter set. Warhammer Underworld I guess it’s too early for season 4, so it can only be DoK. And then there’s all other specialist games including Blackstone Fortress, etc. There’s plenty to discuss so while I hope differently I think Lumineth and Sons cover the AoS part really well.

Just a thing i spotted today

more than half of seraphon products are out of stock 😵

just a coincidence?! 😱

Strange! Besides, it says "temporary"... Also we've already seen the old Slann in the terrain preview and saurus in warcry.

It's repackaging a possibility?

They were very vague about what the next Lumineth Lowdown article was going to cover in two weeks.

Seeing what they already written about Lumineth, my bet is that the next article will be just a detailed description of the new teclis model with his sphinx, keeping under their sleeve the next big reveals for (live) adepticon.

This summer for what now is Cities, it also started as temporary. (Or not even listed as unavailable, just with a nonfunctioning add to basket).

I can't believe the Troglodon as a separate set sells out when the SC doesn't.

More likely that its just a sudden surge of sales as a result of the battletome being close. Thus sparking the interest of loads of former and current fans buying up models to build in anticipation of the new Tome.

Plus chances are sales for Seraphon have been lower than ideal for them without a tome, so GW's production and stock levels are likely not yet ready for a surge of interest.

Looking at the EU site (Finnish version) Stegadon, Bastiladon, and the Saurus Warriors are the only plastic kits that are temporarily out of stock. Of those only the Stegadon was repacked previously, iirc. The rest of the out of stock items are finecast. I doubt those are getting a repacking, and I'm willing to believe that their stock was low before and this is a sign that people are buying units before the BT arrives.

It should be noted that finecast models are at the MOST likely risk (along with metal) of being removed from sale. Seraphon could be lucky like Skaven and lose basically nothing; or they could get unlucky and see a lot of removals. That said I'm not expecting them to see many if any at this stage.
