  1. Hello TGA, I am wondering if someone happens to be able to provide the size difference between the plastic war hydra and the resin/metal one? Thank you. - Lavieth
  2. Hello, I am interested in buying the following items: DoK Sisters of Slaughter heads (10) Darkling Coven Executioner heads (20) Tamurkhan the maggot lord. I am willing to pay fair prices for any of the above listed items. They are required for some conversions I am working on. I live in Canada for shipping purposes. Thank you if you are able to help. Please DM me with how much you want to sell them for and shipping. - Paul
  3. I don't have a great picture of just the unit, so I will post one in here a bit later. Here is a small army shot with the 20 dryads in the front row. Also included is a converted Treelord Ancient (the Pine Crone), a converted Branchwych, branchwaith, and 10 converted Tree-Revenants.
  4. Some progress! These dryad models are a massive pain to build. So many parts of them needed cleaning. However, they are now, built based and the first few stages of paint are on them. Last picture is the test for how I am hoping they will turn out. I decided to use 2 different darker bark colours to add a little variety in the painting process.
  5. My goal for this month is to paint 20 Dryads and 1 Treelord Ancient.
  6. This month I will pledge to build and paint 10 Tree-Revenants. This was suppose to go up a few days ago. Progress so far has the models constructed and the bases have just been started. Included is an example of the 3 heroes I painted last month for an idea on the colour scheme.
  7. Those are not spire of dawn conversions. @SigvaldtheMagnificent that is an interesting thought to put forward. I wish it was the case, but somehow I don't believe it to be. Those Black Guard/Executioner minis look very sharp in the the old high elf colours. Where is that picture from?
  8. I am not so certain it is Wanderers. Looking at the lower half of the archer in the trailer and I get the sense this is a new, hopefully, aelf faction. I believe you can make out satyr like legs on it.
  9. Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Possibly one of the most beautiful armies I have seen.
  10. My pledge for the month of May is to complete the failed pledge for the month of April. Re-cap: 2 Dragons, 1 Loremaster, 1 Swordmaster unit champion.
  11. Thank you. Time to search for the Vallejo paints!
  12. I love the armour. May I ask how you painted it?
  13. Small update. Flesh is . Membranes are done. Scales are done. Bone areas are almost done. Next up is leather straps, armour and the base. These have been very fun to paint. I am not feeling confident about finishing the Loremaster. We will see how this week progresses.
  14. The Archmages are from last month and the dragons are this months progress. The white flesh has been finished and now working on the membranes in the wings. 2 dragons seemed like an easy pledge, but it is very time intensive.
  15. My first army is almost complete. This month the pledge will be: Archmage on dragon Loremaster Unit champion Stretch goal: Drakeseer
  16. I needed a small break from eldrit h council this afteroon. Decided it was time to start a Dreadlord on black dragon conversion that I had been thinking about for ages. It's just a start, but I was able to re-purpose some of the bits from the Malekith miniature. The actual Seraphon body had been lost to time, but all the metal bits were set aside.
  17. May I request the teal colour recipe? I love the tone.
  18. Hello, I am building towards a Hallowheart free city and need some advice. A point of note is I am going for visual theme and rule of cool with this army. As far as I can tell it should be legal. Dragon mage (general) Loremaster Archmage Archmage 4 units of 10 Swordmasters (battleline) Frostheart phoenix (behemoth) 2 units of 10 sisters of the watch (allies) That leaves me with 80 points to spend on endless spells. I was leaning towards soul snare shackles, quicksilver swords and either ravenaks jaws or the geminids. Are there better options? I am not sure as to what artifact or command trait to give the dragon mage. Some of the realm specific ones are really interesting. Alternatively, I could swap out the dragon mage for a standard archmge on dragon. What are your thoughts tga community?
  19. Thanks for posting this! I have been wabting to do the same thing with my IDK. They look excellent.
  20. Excellent work. I look forward to more of your work. My Lion Rangers ahave been slow growing while working on some conversions and trying to get my Slaanesh army painted up. But this project log is really fueling my desire to get back to it. Thanks for providing motivation. Much like your sisters, I may also have to borrow your lion cav conversion (with the wild rider legs). I currently have 5 remaining (6 have been used for "gryph hounds"). Seems like a great way to utilize the models.
