Yeah this image is a two spread image and the last page of the story of the All - gates campaign book with this passage on the right hand side. Plus Grungi has gone missing suddenly. Coincidence? Oh and all the sliver tower stuff is part of the tzeentch Arcanites don't you think it's strange that GW told us to use other profiles when points came out?

So the next big storyarc will revolve around Tzeentch and the Silver Towers? I suppose this means Chamon (Realm of Metal) will be the next big battleground. Probably lead to Tzeentch Arcanites vs Steamhead Duardin and the return of Grungni.

Maybe - it definitely is going to be in focus for 40K.  It lends credence to other things we've heard, but it doesn't sound like we'll see fantasy stuff until next year.

When did Silver Tower get released in relation to All Gates?

Just wondering if it could have been pointing to that, and not necessarily anything else?  Not that there couldn't be Tzeentch release, and certainly that's what the rumors all seem to point to, but seeing this...  Makes me think of the board game more than another campaign.

Of course, how cool would it be if they could link the board game to the table top war game?

Yeah TBH this sounds more related to the WQ release than AoS.  Doesn't mean it's not still coming though, with the duardin to likely tie in as well.

Rumors point that the WQ expansion is going to be Death themed. If I recall.

Sorry I meant that the passage looked to be tied in to the existing WQ: Silver Tower release, not an upcoming one.   "There, many a brave warrior would be lured inside with the promises of riches untold."

iirc sometime around the release of the Sylvaneth battletome and General's Handbook GW said they'd explore unique allegiance abilities for the factions with an existing battletome at some point in the foreseeable future. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember an "Allegiances of the Realms" book ever being mentioned, and think it's probably more likely that new allegiances will start to appear in whatever future campaign books succeed the Realmgate Wars, in the same way that 40k armies with hardback codexes released before 7th edition started getting detachments and formations to bring them up to speed with the 7th edition codexes in campaign supplements like Shield of Bhaal.

The first page of this here rumor's thread lists it as forthcoming and notes the source as a "scanner from Spikeybits."

I think that is simply wrong: there is no confirmation of an Allegiance of the Realms book, it is most likely wishlisting by no-sources. That does not mean something like that will not be released; I actually think it is very plausible. But no confirmation at all.

This particular rumour is certainly a weak one, although Scanner does have decent credibility having shown to have a good 4-6 months insight with previous offerings.

Well... this about settles it for me. Im not a 40k player much as its not my type of game. BUT, it is a friggin comic. Add to that the cool AoS model in this month's issue, really good content, MORE content and not advertising, specialist game info.... damn it GW, Im gonna resub to White Dwarf!

Only thing known is that it's a 40k battle report this time (Imperium vs Xenos).

I hope that it does contain some look into the future. Even if it hints at the following weeks.

If not, we can assume:

• 40k battle report
• Blood Angels
• Genestealer Cult
• Was Kharn in the last one?
• AoS tale of 4 warlords

FWIW the manager of local GW stated that the existing Battletomes (SCE, KBB, F, S, FEC, EC) will get a soft release featuring an update to the book that contains allegiance abilities, spells, magic items etc...all the stuff that BCR, BS and S all have.

Not true, they get quarterly briefings on upcoming releases, broad strokes on various products and so on. What you'll find is that most give off an impression of knowing ****** all because they're good employees and know how to keep confidential information secret.

I'm pretty sure i heard it said on the Warlords Twitch feed over the weekend that an Allegiance Book was coming. Or it was at least strongly hinted at.

Totally excited by the White Dwarfs now, looking forward to the comic!
