I am running my first 2-day event! Though GT may still be more of an ambition than a fact, we're aiming high! The event is being run at Tabletopbattle's locations in Moss, Norway. The date is 10th-11th of November. I am posting this event more as a heads-up than anything else. The notice has been short for any would-be international travelers. We aim to get the event up and running this year, then see what accommodations we can make for people in the coming years. However, if you would like to drop by on short notice, I will do everything in my power to make your stay a worthy one! For those curious, here is the pack: https://1drv.ms/w/s!AkkdTAoFaXFqipdTy2t1XpEcNHPTyQ Our event poster, in Norwegian of course!
  2. Ultimately I believe GW's strategy is to convert every existing finecast model that they have use for to plastic, and slowly ditch the rest. It's pretty obvious that GW HQ qants to go all-plastic for its mainline units. This has been happening since fantasy 6th ed. Slowly they've been phasing out metal kits, then finecast. Whilst ancient plastic sets remain. I don't think we've seen a plastic kit remade since... Tactical marines? I also think GW generally wants to make new kits than remake old ones. There's more money in it, and that is ultimately what counts. Exception being when the difference in model quality and the upgraded model' sales potential is high enough, as with Nurgle.
  3. I actually have a Black Coach ready to get converted. I doubt we'll see a new version of it specifically. GW doesn't seem to be in the mood for redesigning existing models, generally speaking. I guess the Nurgle release sorta disproves that. But then again, the black coach is a nobody model, plague marines are a much bigger deal. The Black Coach he heard about is much more likely to be a completely new model in the vein of a coach.
  4. High and Dark elves are dead. No more. New Elves will be something completely different, whilst keeping minor design elements of the previous factions (see Duardin).
  5. True! I was mostly thinking about Mortals though. But add the Pestilens and even the Daemons, and Nurgle has a very solid selection of troops. I just feel that Khorne and Tzeench got a better hand, with thematic chaff and elites. Khorne especially having a great selection of foot troops.
  6. Let's keep this to rumours guys. No more talk about your store experiences, unless it's also rumour/upcoming release related. In rumour news, we've got a picture displaying the full Nurgle range. Key takeaways, Nurgle has a bajillion heroes, but little in the way of troops. Looks like Chaos will be relying on Slaves to Darkness to fill the ranks for the foreseeable future.
  7. Fun Fact: GW store employees almost never know anything in advance. Only if they have contacts or are prepping for a Major release (like 40k) will GW actually tell them beforehand what's going on. So make that grain of salt extra big and salty.
  8. The new and final version of Battletome: The End Times is finished! There's so much I could say about this. And I will update the blog later. But for now, here's the links to the tome and ALL its parts. I also made a trailer, so please enjoy that! That's all of them! As a bonus, here's a screensaver! It's just a silly little thing, but I figured that since I have the files it'd be fun. Thanks for reading!

This is the final tome in the collection. Battletome: Archaon covers the final moments of the World-That-Was. This is really where the whole sage ends. Archaon the Everchosen shows why he's called Lord of the End Times. It contains no Time of War rules, but compensates with 11 battleplans, many of them quite complex. It also has a Mighty Battles campaign, "Plague and Death", no points for guessing who's involved in that!

This is the fourth tome in the End Times series of campaign books. The Skaven unleash their endless hordes, and the empires of Dwarfs and Lizardmen fall. There would be no coming back from this. Here you will find 6 battleplans detailing the fall of Lizardmen and Dwarfs, as well as Thanquol's shining moment! The Time of War "Realms of the Lizardmen" is also included, as is the Mighty Battles campaign "The Doom of Belegar".

Khaine is the third part of the End Times saga. This was the turning points in more ways than one, as the massive conflict between the High Elves and Dark Elves was resolved, and the enigmatic Wood Elves were brought back into the fold. This is another shorter battletome with another 7 battleplans. It contains a single Time of War, "The Great Vortex Weakens" and a Mighty Battles campaign, "The Return".

Battletome: Glottkin is part 2 of the End Times books. This is the original appearance of the Glottkin, a trio who would return again and again to plague the Mortal Realms. Where Nagash focused on the Undead, this tome is set squarely in the Empire, with Karl Franz taking center stage. Among the shorter tomes, it contains 6 battleplans for your to play. In addition, it has the "Chaos Ascendant" and "Streets of Death" Time of War rules and the "Conquest of the Tentacle Lord" Mighty Battles campaign.

Battletome: Nagash was the first of the End Times campaign books. It follows the story of his resurrection all the way until he crushes the kingdom of Nehekhara. This is the longest tome in the project, featuring 21 battleplans. It also includes the two Times of War "Haunted Battlegrounds" and "Darkest Depths" as well as the Mighty Battles campaign "The Rise of Nagash".

Mighty Battles is a campaign system for two players, designed to be played across a single day, weekend or a couple of club nights. If you've ever played a campaign that just died a slow death, you know how frustrating that can be. Mighty Battles is here to allow you and an opponent to string your battles together in a simple structure, add some narrative details, and finish the story in a reasonable amount of time! Included is a guide on how to design your own Mighty Battles campaigns. All 5 End Times campaigns are also packaged in, giving you plenty of content right off the bat!

Welcome, to Battletome: The End Times. The result of more than 2 years of hard work, this is my tribute to the Old World. This project is a complete conversion of all the original End Times scenarios into battleplans for your games of Age of Sigmar. It also has added Times of War rules and campaigns to make it as content packed and interesting as possible. It has even been designed to be faction neutral, so you can use it even if you don't have any Old World factions. It's a complete Narrative gaming package for all fans of Age of Sigmar. For those of you unfamiliar with the story, the End Times were a series of campaign books that detailed the doom of the World-That-Was. Over the five tomes, we learned of the heroics and tragedies of our favorite heroes as they struggled valiantly against the coming storm. In Nagash, we see the Great Necromancer once again ressurected, a bid to stall the chaos gods before they can consume the world. In Glottkin, the full might of Nurgle's followers is unleashed. Khaine gave us resolution to the setting-defining conflict between the High Elves and the Dark Elves, before the isle of Ulthuan was sunk. During Thanquol, the Skaven rise up and destroy the empires of the Lizardmen and Dwarfs. And finally, in Archaon the heroes make their last stand against the forces of Chaos. Ultimately, Archaon, Lord of the End Times, succeeds. The Old World is destroyed, leading to the birth of the Mortal Realms. Battletome: The End Times features contributions from more than 50 people! Many have sent photos, given technical help, done proofreading or a thousand other things. This project wouldn't exist without all of you. Thank you. This also makes Battletome: The End Times one of the largest community collaborations in all of Warhammer! You guys are all awesome. Really. I have been humbled by how generous everyone has been with their time and efforts. Featuring All five End Times campaign books in one massive package 49 battleplans 6 Times of War 5 Mighty Battles campaigns The full Mighty Battles campaign system More than 100 pictures of awesome models Original art by Max Fitzgerald A huge community effort Entertainment to last you a whole year, even if you play weekly! And much, much more I hope you guys enjoy!
  16. Looks like I might be bringing my RAW Slaanesh army. Disspossed don't really have a batallion to use any more. We'll see after RAW though, need to bring something I enjoy playing!
  17. If it was all a copyright move, where are there still "Spirit Hosts", "Skeleton Warriors" and 1000 similar names. Don't overplay the copyright card. What rumour engine stuff is currently unaccounted for?
  18. I know enough good things can't be said about that Shadespire Stormcast model, but I'm loving the Bloodreaver with a beard. Grampa's going to war! And the "assassin" Stormcast is interesting. The Vanguard chamber is explicitly not "shadowy assassins", and yet here's one that is. She might not be Vanguard, but that's what was shown in the video... Mysterious. Oh, and she's the first Named Stormcast model since the Celestant Prime!
  19. ++ MOD TALK ++ We're obviously all excited about the new releases. But if you're just going to say something negative, back it up with some solid arguments or don't say anything at all. We're here because we LIKE the game. Let's keep this place either positive or filled with constructive criticism.
  20. Looking forward to this. Not that There's any lack of AoS stuff to do, but this sounds really neat.
  21. So here's a question, what format do you guys want the fluff in? Short story, textbook entry, poem?
  22. So I didn't get the RAW mail. But I did get it when @HobbyHammer pressed "reply all" when sending in his mail... Don't know how that works, but nice fluff Sean!
