Kronos
I think we have some more undead coming for Bloodbowl, and I think this one may be a Dwarf.
Nezzhil
As we expected the Covid-19 delayed Old World and at least it was not cancelled. We were receiving an update every month and after the lockdowns, and the news disappeared from the horizon. But it is back again. 3

KingBrodd
Honestly I'm not very fussed about the Old World just yet. They said it was years away and when GW calls 3-6 months 'Soon' I'm willing to bet it wasnt being released until 2022, now it may not be until 2023/4. Ogregut
For all we know, it's now further ahead than it was. I think alot of people believe all work stopped because of lockdown where I bet a lot of headway has been done at home offices.

The next Preview is for Black Library so perhaps Broken Realms will be shown off there for a January release date. Soooooo maybe?
Black_Templar_Lad
Fully expecting the next updates to The Old World to be tied with the announcement of Total War Warhammer 3. It seems hopeful that we'll be seeing a crossover of the new models in the game such as Kislev, so I wonder if either team is waiting on the other to announce together. Also in regards to that rumour engine, these swords are definitely interesting. Do you think that arm has a sleeve? The crinkles in the wrist look at little too odd to be skin wrinkles and look more akin to clothing creases, perhaps a silk sleeve? Vampiress? 😍

Warhammer TW 3 is apparently coming out next year (or at least that's the target window or was pre-corona). Warhammer Old World is still 3-5 years at best away from release and that was the date we had pre-corona. So at least 2 years on their best estimation from today. So whilst GW might release some marketing about it, I would not expect any pairing; the two are simply on utterly different timelines of production and there's no sane reason to pair them at this stage. Now we don't even know what age the Old World game will take place in; meanwhile the way CA has been doing the story for Warhammer Total War its sounding very much like they are doing their own End Times style story. A buildup of war during the first game; the disabling of the vortex in the second game - the unleashing of demons and chaos into the world in the 3rd game. A neat way to end it and bring the whole game into the Age of Sigmar - which might well be what CA is thinking for a future licence

GW's always looking to put their own angle on fantasy archetypes and there's many worse takes than swole beach bully vampires that slap people on the back and call them brother. (Sophisticated vampires wearing opera gloves to battle could also be ok) Looking at this, the pommel and hilt are vaguely similar to some of the swords we've seen. Not a million miles from the 'perfume bottle' style pommel from one of the earlier ones. Interesting as well to think about what gets shown and what doesn't. From what I can tell almost nothing we saw yesterday was previewed in the rumour engine pics, if we discount those done deliberately as previews of the preview in the week leading up. Overread
Thing is even if GW does Old World again, for CA it would mostly be the same game we have now, if anything it might be a good "Saga" title for them, esp since GW will likely launch it slower and tease it out like they have the specialist games. So for CA the natural evolution point for Total War Warhammer is to move with the same pattern GW has - to do Age of Sigmar. For GW its also natural for them to want a big developer to do their latest and current focus - again to do Age of Sigmar. For CA it also presents a lot of new content that they can use and develop. It means that fans of TW Warhammer are more likely to buy into a totally new game rather than one that's basically the same. Especially after doing 3 full linked games iwth expansions. I'm sure CA would want to do another - not just from the fan side of things, but financially the TW Warhammer game has not only been a big seller (biggest excluding Rise of the 3 Kingdoms which has an abnormal boost due to a huge Asian market) but its also retained one of the highest continual playerbases. So its not just a big game its a long lasting one; the kind that you can tease DLC out for and make good profit; the kind that lasts in the amrket a long time and generates sales as a result of that. As it stands I would be more surprised if we don't see TW Age of Sigmar at some stage.
Nighthaunt Noob
If today's rumor engine, along with many of the previous ones, isn't Vampires, GW's trolling game is epic. It's almost comical how many of these types of images are stacking up at this point.
Enoby
An interesting tidbit from 2019's October White Dwarf with Syll'Esske in. While I won't post the entire story, it follows man who has been possessed, and who seeks the daemon. He becomes fused with his daemon like many of the others in the host. Possibly this was inspired by/the inspiration for Two Souls? Maybe other literature suggests future releases.
SirSalabean
Vampires would fit with all these fancy swords. I’d imagine lots of fancy swordsman muskstier vampires with all these rumour engines

Part of Syll'Esske's background is that they're idolised by those who want synchronisation between the mortal and the daemonic. Wouldn't be surprised if they get some rule boosting Twinsouls, or maybe a battalion.
