It would be a touch risky to register a trademark on a product that's already boxed in warehouses and ready for dispatch.

Ok. AoS 5. MossCairn. Better now? 😄

Mosscairn could be a name of a new Warcry setting?

I think, as someone pointed out, it is most likely Underworlds. Their  "settings" change more often, but now that you mention Warcry... doesn't Mosscairn sound similar to something like... Mossheim? 😏😏

It's always a burial site or deep hole of some kind with these Underworlds people... it reminds me of something, like some kind of world where you go when you die that is underneath or something deep and spooky... I don't know 🤷‍♂️

😜

With a name like Underworlds, who'd've thunk it would be so Death themed?
😉 😁

Moss Cairn sounds like Nighthaunt Terrain to me! 😊

There are many Cairns across Scotland -

A cairn is a human-made pile (or stack) of stones raised for a purpose, usually as a marker or as a burial mound.

Would be cool to see something like the Fen Beast return. Matches perfectly.

CSM preorder is coming in May, that's sure.

Well I can see a preorder preview with both AOS (DB6, Abraxia, Chaos Nexus and Gunnar) and 40k (the CSM Codex + boxes with the 2 new guys). It was done before (or was it only with other specialist game ranges?).

I see spearhead a good move. I dont know if people here are familiar with Infinity but It also has "code one" as the easy entry with easy rules and the normal mode with more minis and a lot more rules. Spearhead is like warcry and underworlds together, they give you the army, the map, easy rules and fast games but at last you can say It IS Warhammer.

A lot of people dont have enough time to play 2h game and want to play in person (I use a lot of TTS to play with a friend almost every week at night)so its cool to have the spearhead mode. Like kill team or warcry you Will only need a small table (Big plus here too) and few more minis. And with other games that plays faster (OPR) I see a good move for GW making this mode. The question is if It Will be enough

"Next week, we’ll be revealing another model from the Warhammer Age of Sigmar launch set. We’re getting closer to the full reveal on the 18th of May, and we’ve already covered many of the changes coming to the rules in the new edition of Age of Sigmar – make sure you’re primed by reading up on everything in the hub below."

They've run out of stuff to talk about already. Not even a mention of faction focus articles.

I think the idea is that they have covered the rules and these will be fully revealed on the 18th. Then they will start covering the factions I suppose

About Underworlds warbands in 4th : do you think they'll disappear entirely in next BT (at least those that aren't recent) ? The changing ranges announcment was evasive on this.

I was wondering about this when I had Hexbane Hunters to integrate into a COS Witch Hunters themed army.

I've rather turned off campaign rules that involve units getting layers of special abilities over time; I've come to find it all too much in terms of administrative load and book-keeping. I'd prefer PtG focus more on the wider stuff, like territory, and less on what rank and what xp and whatnot each and every unit I'm putting on the field. I want the story of the campaign, not the story of which guys got incrementally tougher.

However, custom Anvil of Apotheosis for every battletome? Now that's some good news.

I really hope that I can convice my group to switch to PtG instead of matched play. It's just so much cooler and with the additional bonus that BT's are removed. 😄

I think that is the case. FEC already removed one. This is the way.

GW could do FOMO spearhead boxes with book releases, but I wouldn't expect more than 1 evergreen spearhead box per faction.

They tend to do those boxes during the end of the edition narrative supplements (Dawnbringer)

it possible they will do battleforces like 40K (like the recent OrK and Custodes one) and put the new heroe release in those one
