Endless spells for free (points) just seems like " you will be at a competitive disadvantage unless you spend money on this specific thing" regardless of how you want to build up your army. Pay to win?
We know from leaked sprues that Skaven are getting at least 2 new ranged shooty units. It'd be weird if a horde army got the new shooty stuff if it really is being limited and scaled back overall.
Yeah, what even are Grand Alliances now anyway?
Apart from categories on the webstore and an indication of which Mega Gargant you can have in your army?
Is this related to "Is AoS a setting or a story"?
During an edition it's a setting so not a lot can change. Then in the run up to a new edition they can/need to have loads of narrative to set up the updated setting for the new edition.
Maybe? Who knows? I'm just waffling.
I may be alone in this and I'm hoping they'll grow on me, but I'm not a fan of these new ruination Stormcast.
To me they don't really look like Stormcast.
Yes. There is already a 4oS rules topic if people don't fancy starting a specific Coherency one: https://www.tga.community/forums/topic/38680-thoughts-on-40s-new-rules/?page=3#comment-659359
69 to 72 now up for pre-order on Forbidden Planet.
According to the leaks and Fauxhammer:
69 - Domicile Shell
70 - Ironskull's Boyz
71 - Paint
72 - Lord-Commander Bastian Carthalos
Pink Horrors and Blue Horrors I think are pretty different sizes and on different sized bases, I think that's how they are told apart rather than necessarily the colour. Despite the name.
Based on responses to a comment I made the other day, I think this was only ever a thing briefly in AoS once and the colour scheme specific rules sillyness is much more a 40k thing.
Now we have certainty about Beasts and Splitters we TGAers need a faction to fret about rumoured squatting.
We don't know what allies rules will be in 4oS yet. Now Megas aren't new and GW not pushing for everyone to buy them they might not be available to everyone anymore.
They do look very different.
And I can't fully tell but size wise they look a fair bit smaller. Maybe more similar to Kurnoth Hunters than the he newer Treelord/men?
