Man between the "not bullgor" theridon and another centaur that isn't going to be beasts of chaos I'm really starting to fear they will just soft kill Beasts into slaves to darkness without ever updating them again.

I'll just use Ungor and Gor as Marauders and Bestigor as Chaos Warriors.

Honestly I've come to love the HoH Warband. Like the Hobgrots of the Kruleboyz they're clearly a sign of what's to come, and show just how powerful Hashut has become since The Old World has fallen. Their armor has this strange crude/elegant feel to it that makes it clear these guys are not high in the cult of Father of Darkness, but are still powerful. The helmets are absolutely amazing ( @Maogrim, this is how you do bull hats), and I like their weapons a lot.

The Centurion is a great addition to the range, further strengthening the new gladiator/viking mix that has become common amongst the Undivided side of chaos. my favorite part of him has to be the helmet and the chest/gut plate he's rocking, it's clearly seen some fights but is still terrifying.

I can't wait to see what the new season of Warcry brings us.

Slightly disappointed Warcry was only one warband! However, overall a good showing for their specialist game systems.

Now I am just hoping all of the tokens and cards from those new Warcry boxes they pushed will remain legal when the new book hits... otherwise why the hell did GW print all that cardboard and laminated paper?

Think that's the plan unfortunately

@Maogrim

And I quote:

(Cannon fodder slave) "followers of the god Hashut venture out in front of his all-conquering legions, seeking lands worthy of domination. They’re the vanguard of devastation and despair in a brutal machinery of endless war… and they have some very impressive hats."

I shall repeat once more... More-grim of the pointy ears...

IMPRESSIVE HATS.

And... a tease at some massively tasty sausages and marshmallows going by that fork.

A pig stikker that an orruk would be proud of.

IMPRESSIVE HATS I TELL THEE

Not sure how to feel about Horns of Hashut...

Hashut gets human worshippers before a proper Chaos Dwarf remake? Seems a tad anti-climactic honestly...

Er... those humans might think they're followers but the true children of hashut know that they are nothing more than willing slave cannon fodder... or allies as we like to refer to them in the Zhar.

Eh, I just see it as being consistent. We’ve had Ogroids since 2016 and they were their own thing like the new Centauroid is.

Beasts of Chaos come from Chaos, not the enslaved animal peoples of the realms who are forced into it. Proper BoC should be new ones based on the lore like Ghost-eater the albino lion headed beast lord in Shyish, the giant mammoth-headed gors in Ghur and the the shark mutant Brayherds swimming in Ghyran’s oceans.

They should feel like an invasive species if anything that’s adapting to the Realms.

Not to mention the mortals who’ve taken on animalistic mutations and been allowed to join the Brayherds from the recent White Dwarf article. In fact I kind of hope we get new Beasts in this season of Warcry

During the Twitch live-stream they kept saying "The Legions of Hashut" almost like a name. He said "Hashut was - or maybe still is - the god of the Chaos Dwarfs or the Legions of Hashut" and that the Horns of Hashut seek out places for his legion to exploit/attack and then bring "The Legions of Hashut with us to cleanse the land". I really don't have a doubt at this point we're getting a Hashut army with at least some Chaos Dwarfs. Just wonder if they're going to have bull helmets like these guys or if its going to be a Hashut army in general with different followers and not just Chaos Dwarfs.

Can someone explain to me what went wrong with the Necromunda Squats? Was their Helmet mold squished or something? It looks nothing like the Art, it looks simply bad?

They’re not part of the Leagues of Votann but the same species who separated long before so their equipment is similar but different (in this case designed to survive in and under the Ash Wastes for long periods of time)

Honestly those thicc helmets are the highlight of the preview for me, I just get such a brilliant 2000AD/80's British sci-fi vibe from them.

These look like exactly the sort of devil-may-care sci-fi miners or oil rig dudes who'd lean into the whole ROCK AND STONE side of things, even more than the non-Necromundan squats. They're brilliant and I love them.

Yeah, these models have personality, something I personally didn't feel from the ones for 40K.

On another topic, Warcry seems headed towards a new edition, I'm really curious about the scenography that will come with the new box.

This must be why I love them so much.

I love them so much 😍 And I'm glad they aren't part of a boxset or anything but will be released on their own. No interest in playing Nercomunda but I'm defo defo getting these.

Seraphon warband possibly? Talking about things crashing into this region of Ghur... like Koatl's Claw. I'm curious if what Be'lakor did to the realms is affecting some of the temple ships that or in the skies of the realms. Maybe this is a new temple ship, a new constellation crashing into Ghur. Also with the proximity of the Gnarlwood to Mekitospar it's not out of the question for Koatl's Claw to send a warband as well. Anyways this is one frog's wishes for more new sculpts. Also that animal in the picture does kind of like like a coatl...
