No problem.  :)

On another note, how long has the Shadows over Hammerhal set been missing from the GW site? I know I saw it still around on there at least two months ago.

I hope that's a sign of a new AoS Warhammer Quest people have been speculating.

No it’s been gone way longer than that. About a year now. But my memory might be faulty on this.

How strange. Maybe it was an old pack from storage they needed to sell? I know it was close to their reopening when I checked on it so maybe that had something to do with it. Either old storage or a link they forgot to close.

Well regardless it's looking like the 40k one is winding down so here's hoping the quest comes back to the mortal realms!

I just hope GW doesn't pull the Blackstone models from sale. Sure the game itself might get removed from sale, but the models themselves should be kept. From exotics like the Zoat through to things like the cultist bands who are ideal for regular 40K armies with no custom rules needed

A bought Shadows over Hammerhal about three months ago from my local GW store. That same day I bought it they told me I was lucky as they had just packaged up their second last copy for return to HQ. It might be possible to find a few copies at independent retailers in some areas if you are very lucky.

Edit: Glad I got it too, it looks great.

Hastings suspects an undead one so many unused spooky rumor engines.

"Hastings:
"I'm starting to think there may be a new WHQ AoS coming our way soon(ish) and that this, along with some other recent rumour images, are parts of it."

I remember there was a rumour after Silver Tower that the next planned expansion was supposed to be an undead setting - Hammerhal was a more of a quick expansion with no unique models. Possibly thats always been the plan but Blackstone had to come out for 40k first? It would fit with the current focus on Death and the Necro-quake etc..

Local stores, local left overs. I found the adversary cards last week in a store. And those been out of production way longer than that.

googling it I see a lot of conversation in September 2018 that quest isn’t available online anymore.

Maybe for linking Aos 2.0. with AoS 3.0? Another campaign/UD Battletome with the Quest as "micro-history".

Yeah could be.. they did that with Blackstone- started as Imperium vs chaos [8th edition ]and became Imperium vs Xenos [9th edition]. I wonder if they will do expansions like Blackstone ..

@Baron Klatz I am also excited about the prospect of a new AOS Warhammer Quest... but I am hard pressed to think what I would want thematically. Maybe explorers in a New Lustria or an underground setting with Skaven and Gloomspite Gitz?

I would like some new scuttlings, perhaps some new flavor of undeath(vampirates would be very nice), and something Chaosy cause they’ve been given the shaft recently.

Boris Johnson has stated that entering another Lockdown would be like a nuclear deterrent, a last resort. So I dont think GW will be shutting  production down again.

This the same Boris Johnson whose most famous trait is that he’s pathologically incapable of telling the truth?

in that case I better tell my parents to stock up on beans, pasta & bog roll again & order in a litre of Agrax Earthshade myself.

What's that got to do with aos or rumors? Reported.

Huh, so nothing about the GHB's FAQ. So they either didn't bother to even mention it as something worthwhile, or it's not arriving this week.

I was just suprised to see a Specialist release in there, seems like a spot that wouldve been perfect for the Sons...

Only if the Sons were close to be released :^)

my understanding is that they are good to go. I imagine they are trying to work out how they fit in the schedule. I’m no expert but I imagine it’s a juggling act when you release something every week and then shipping things round the world and storing storing them until release. 40k is massive to GW and doing a made to order for the Idomitus box is unheard of!

I’d say GW are listening and will do something special. They’ve only just returned to the offices so I think they will be brewing up something

I'm also happy for 40K players as well, they are getting yet another Preview exclusively for them this Saturday during the Idomitus livestream previewing new models.

I just hope they're Xenos and I dont even play 40K. Hopefully one day we will have an AOS Preview, though that wont happen until the rest of the Lumineth and Sons drop I'm sure.

I hope we get a big AOS week or two dropping the rest of the Lumineth and Sons together, along with Scions of the Flame, I think that will help with everything.

I am actually happy for 40K players and as their flagship release for the year and with the Lockdown hampering their release schedule I fully understand that GW has to do what's best for them.

Oh, I know. It was mostly a joke about how with the release of 9th edition AoS has sort of dropped into the background for the time being, so Sons might be just about to drop, but GW will probably not say anything until it's just about to come since they are ultra-focused on 40k for now. It's a bit like the GHB's FAQ. We know it's done, we know it should supposedly be dropping "soon," but... we don't really have any info on it.

We can only wait and see, and be patient.

Wouldn't it be more plausible to  release the Sons after the "actuel" release of Lumineth?

August will have two teams for Underworld, probably a 40K follow up release of Nercrons (big release) or Primaris.  Next Sunday they will preview even more 40K mini's and maybe all the seperate Lumineth sets?

I hope I am wrong, but I don't really see a release slot for the Sons in august.
