Iradekhorne
I think is because the new death book after indoneth is going to be malignants. And nighaunt is only one faction on this book. Maybe they throw a bit range of new miniatures like the new black coach in a new faction inside this book. I really want see the new black coach, the spirit hosts/hexwraiths and the mortis engine in the same army 22 minutes ago, Swooper said: Isn't "malignants" just the race keyword for ghosts, while Nighthaunt is the faction? Chikout
5 minutes ago, Barkanaut said: Thanks. And for 40k? Actually there are two more events where GW will do previews. The first is warhammer fest on the 12th and 13th of May, and the second is at the UK games expo where they have a seminar on Friday the 1st of June. Both of these events will probably have a mixture of aos, 40k and forgeworld/specialist games stuff. GW is really going all out on preview events this year. I wouldn't expect too much brand new from the aos open day as it is a rescheduled event. 1
LLV
There’s the warhammer day in may, same time as SCGT. Since I’ve been told a lot of the releases coming in June, we should get news in May. I don’t know dates for certain though.
Morglum StormBasha
So last year the new edition of 40k was demoed at both uk games expo and at Warhammer Fest. The new starter Set for aos should be similar this year.

So if there is one, I would not expect it to be demoed on the same events new 40k was.

Maybe 40k 8th was a bigger and riskier move to make for GW (i.e. the AOSification of the 40k ruleset and the advancement of the story line) so it needed a carful and full-time investment marketing ? Even if it is indeed a new edition (AOS 2.0) I guess the changes won't be as big as WFB-->AOS or 40k 7th --> 40k 8th, so it won't need such a big marketing campaign. I still think we'll get to see more news about the Raw Magic Unleash and the Dead rising in Shyish teasers quite soon - those 2-3 events are the right place to do so. Yeah, I think Magic and Undeath will come in May and June. I think a late April full announcement and reveal of the magic expansion outside of events (they still do that too, particularly for such releases with few minis) and then a full announcement of upcoming Undeath on Warhammer fest.

I don’t think we will see anything for AOS in May unless it is the tail end of the idoneth release. I think we will get Harlequins alongside a later idoneth week. Then in May we will get bloodbowl, imperial knights and probably gang war 3 for Necromunda. The next AOS release will probably arrive in June. Chikout
Hey there. I found something in the wilds of the Internet. Our first look at the design of the new Stormcast and confirmation of them fighting Nighthaunt. I think that is the knight of Shrouds and not one of the new infantry kits, but it certainly adds further credence to the rumours of a new box set. The book is Soul Wars by the way. Cant wait to read it . There is also an awesome looking cover for the follow up to City of Secrets by Nick Horth. LLV
I read the books I just don’t keep tabs on what’s coming out. I just get them when I see them. but back on topic, Soul Wars and AoS phase 2 is a coming guys n gals. That will make the warhammer fest and the scgt the last major tourneys before new edition drops.

So maybe a cross between DAish and BTish ;-p
AdamR
I hope they're not wizards but rather different priests. Do SCE really need wizards?

And it's purging time. Edited April 6, 2018 by Sete
