    I'm thinking it will be what we've seen for now. Between the SC and all the Warcry stuff it's quite the release.

    The Lichemaster's first warband for an upcoming Narrative Campaign. Doing a Legions, a converted "Deathcast" Wight force loyal to Kemmler and a Flesh Eater Court ( for their shared hatred of Nagash and the ironic humor Heinrich would find in allying with these Cannibals that echo his hated foes in the Old World.)

    Not sure if I mentioned my plans earlier in this thread but here's the basics. 1) They released a Gotrek model. 2) I can't not build a force that let's you play Gotrek on the table 3) They released a great sandbox of a Battletome that let's you create a City in the Mortal Realms 4) I have been wargaming for 24 years and have a mountain of kits from different game systems and Kickstarters. So I've got the basics figured out where my City will be a population of Dispossessed who through their dealings with the Kharadron have autonomous mechanical golems and a Druidic caste of Aelves who reluctantly turned to skinshifting to survive the Age of Chaos (I might have a ton of Warmachine and Hordes kits laying around ) So here is my first test build. This is my Hurricanum (I am thinking of getting those cool 3D nameplates made to make things clear in game.)

    It's once per turn so very good but not half of all the ways to generate extra (Gobbos Hammerhal, Skaven etc)

    I could see the clean slate approach being helpful for sure. I'm helping a friend organize a Warcry Narrative Campaign. So that will be a good barometer for future efforts. We've removed any reward for wins. Everything is best story, painting/conversion and master manipulator award to go with the economy system he's creating (similar to the original triumph and treachery)

    Having become disillusioned with the cutthroat Rock Paper Scissors aspect of the main games I'd love to get some serious narrative games going. Now having said that, I have never had much luck with it in the past. I imagine cool interlinked battles with GM'd elements and a desire to just enjoy the story of it but every "narrative" campaign I've participated in has just turned into matched play with a thin layer of "I like the story of the current meta builds" Whenever I have asked in the past the best answer I've got is "Don't take/allow the cheese/broken stuff" which I get but seems rather nebulous and hard to get people to buy into if it's all "AoS is balanced because tournament goers taking the most egregious armies possible have a decent spread of books with brutal builds in them" players. So I will be following this with great interest as I'd love to hear how people have approached this and succeeded.

    Anyone having trouble allying Gotrek in the app. Says he must be the only Ally and won't add him. Thought maybe the Stormcast in my list might be confusing it?

    With all the discussion of proxys/counts as thought I'd share my plan. My army is going to be spread across half a dozen companies/factions.     What's worse intentionally ramping up the power to sell new kits (which they don't partake in as many of the new kits have dreadful rules) or being incompetent and letting rules out of the stable which are bad for the game and the communities it fosters? ( 7th Daemons, 5th Grey Knights, Eldar Scatbike Troops, FEC during their recent reign of terror, Slaanesh in modern AoS, potentially these new Marine snowflake books)

    Do we know if the reapers can take any other existing minis outside of Arkhan and Morghasts? Could be new kits with an old hero.

    I really like those low profile minimag trays. For those who've decided to use these across different armies. What numbers and shapes have you purchased? I'd be using them for Moonclan, squigs, 40k cultists, Genestealers. My first thoughts are mostly the 5 cloud shape with some of the strips. Would that work well in both games?

    I don't think this new ability affects a model with the amulet. It ignores the ability Ethereal. Which despite having the word in it's name and bestowing the same effect it does not grant the model that ability.

    I started to magnetize them and then just went with rule of cool. He looks way cooler on the pile of Skaven.

    It's fun exaggerating. Some consistency would be nice. There is usually some method to their madness. They tease something. Time goes by. They start previewing it. It comes out. Rinse, repeat. For some reason with this specific release they teased it. Added a savage cull of the model lines associated with it. Then spent the summer announcing things and immediately releasing them or putting up previews before the preorder week in Beastgraves case. One could argue the release that most needed communication from the creator has been completely ignored since the culling of the existing minis.
