It does actually, however it does feel like you just peed on my cornflakes haha.

Though Necromunda's rebirth would also be amazing, that is a real blast from the past

Thank you.  I shall name him Sigmar the Second and you can be assured that he will be fed a healthy diet of plastic, super glue, and paint.

Well the Custodes was a curve ball for me, will have to get them. Emperor wills it.

I'm hoping i can "persuade" one of my friends to join AoS with the Duardin.

He's a bearded steampunk fan guy, and hopefully i can convince him to join the ranks ?

Aaaaaawerfjfj so excited! Spent the weekend at Warhammer World and there is a new table there that would be just perfect for necromunda! That may lend some credence to a Necromunda release being on the cards

Necromunda is the next game being done by Specialist Games

In hindsight it kind of makes sense: Duardin will get the weeks of the 25th, 1st and 8th, next would be Adeptus titanicus in mid april. That would be a release window equivalent to SC and DoT.

Yup but i didnt think we had any details at all about how soon it would be? Thought it might be a good year off etc. I cant wait to see which gangs are featured and what the modelling team make of the classic gangs: House Van der Saar (pot bellied IT dudes with beards), House Esher (90s tank girls) and Delaque (bald men in trenchcoats).

I would be hoping for multipose gangs with loads of weapon options like Genestealer Cult sprues rather than monopose like Bloodbowl.

Oh man I hope they support it with lots of supplements over the years. Outlanders were the best!

I was around during the Necromunda glory years, I even have lots of models/books. I'd probably get into it, probably with Redemptionists because they are just plain scary. Zealots with flamethrowers!

I would like to see them perhaps vary things a bit with the gangs too.

Do you guys think they'll introduce Mordheim too?

Art from the Steam trading cards of the videogame Mordheim. I don't know if it was made before for a White Dwarf or a supplement.

They are all lovely, I just love this art-style, so warhammer, grytty and dark but ... some kind of bizarre. Don't the lazy digital generic art of late.

Here you have more in a little gallery I made. I love the little owl with sword and shield of the second image. This images give a lot of inspiration to AoS28 (Sorry for the offtopic!). If you click in it you will see the whole gallery. The preview only show 7 images.

Ive not seen any rumours that Necromunda is on its way at all let alone next month. Adeptus Titanicus is the next specialist game out from what I understand reading War of Sigmar. I would expect to see this just after the duardin release, altho GW have been very good at surprises already this year (Hammerhal and new Stormcasts.

Heres one I havent seen discussed much, Stormkeeps are popping up in the fluff more and more, can we expect an Order fortress to rival the Dreadhold?

It'll be a minimum of a year as they've only just started work on it and will still continue supporting Bloodbowl and Adeptus Titanicus too.  I spotted yesterday that GW are advertising for an extra FW rules writer who will be working near James Hewitt.  Jes Goodwin is would love to see his original design for Delaque, from what he was saying when I spoke to him last year the trenchcoated version was because one of the managers really wanted to see a gang with trenchcoats :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for multipose models too - however it'll all depend upon how successful the release is.  FW have a limited "plastic budget" which gets increased/reduced based on sales.  Originally only the box game contents (i.e. Human and Orc teams) was going to be plastic, but because it sold well they were allowed to do Skaven and subsequently Dwarves in plastic too (there are resin alternative heads, arms etc planned for all of the teams).

Adeptus Titanicus is at the "nearly finished" stage.  They took a bit longer polishing the rules than anticipated so have taken the decision to wait until they have more models ready for release - the rules etc will fit into the HH black book style but using blue instead of red as the main accent colour inside.

The initial plan was to release the rules with only one or two titan variants available and add new ones as time goes on, but because of the delay for the rules they felt it was worth simply waiting for a bit longer.  Models will be separate to the rules to allow you to create your own custom maniple :)  When I was speaking to the team in February the impression I got was they didn't expect anything to get released in the first half of the year.  Bloodbowl has been much more popular than expected too and Specialist Games are a really small team currently.

Via GAMA:

New Age of Sigmar Starter Box. Comes with the existing Starter Set contents minus some heroes (Dracoth, Lord of Khorne, not sure what else). Comes with Gold and Red sprues, which looks like it would be easy to hit with a wash and call it tabletop. Comes with a vinyl 2 sided mat based on the Realm of Battle Board, and the box turns into a big terrain piece

Shadow War: Armageddon is the spiritual successor to Necromunda and due out VERY SOON. Comes in a MASSIVE (stressed a lot) box full of multilevel terrain, Space Marines, Orks and of course rules. The rules cover 16-17 different factions, so most/all 40k armies are covered.

Blood Bowl is going really strong, like crazy strong. Lots of stuff in the works for it, and I think they are probably redesigning stuff they had planned to cast instead as plastic (my guess).

Go to -28, it's a live stream
