With any luck GW will put the specialists games together (Warcry and Necromunda), but it looks like we all need to prepare for a drought drier then the deserts of LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!! @KingBrodd. Here’s hoping the releases more than make up for the wait your swoleness.

I would expect the battletomes for 25th of june, then the whole july for Chaos Space Marines + Horus Heresy Wave 2, and something Warcry related in August

Do we know the HH preorder is a 3 week window?

The article states "After a slightly extended pre-order period, all this will be in your hands in just three short weeks" which to me reads that the slightly extended pre-order week period is 2 weeks, and it'll be in our hands 3 weeks from the article?

Theres a rumour I read on Reddit from a GW store manager that there will be an Army Box of Kin end of July with the rest of the range in September/October which I am choosing to believe.. 😇.

Necro squats I guess might be out before that, they can squeeze those in easily enough. The release schedule looks packed  though!

Yeah it’s a 2 week preorder. 1 week (or so) from now to the preorder and then 2 week preorder.

Store managers know about as much as us, but an army box for them before a wider release wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Some sylvaneth stuffs

The dragonflies move really fast and hit like a truck. They are a bit fragile so you want to use the teleport ability to help protect them.

Kurnoth hunters are great, all types.

Woods still have some stuff with Los blocking and owning the actual kit is still beneficial Vs just using the overgrown rule.

Tree revs can still deepstrike.

The whole philosophy is to make the sylvaneth a lot more dynamic rather than just sitting in the woods. Think skirmishers that attack fast and then vanish.

Skaven 

I don't really know or care much, but die hard players should be happy.

Nighthaunt and DoK are going to really benefit. Don't be surprised if BoC continue to rise to the top too.

There aren't really any big losers, but a lot of those monsters that were borderline inclusions in lists might drop out. 

Horrifying realisation bonus 

IDK exist just to stop the shooting meta ever becoming too powerful. Because if a gun line army starts to go above 60% then IDK will rise up to counter them.

Note: You can have a up to 2500 points with just that box. Take some weapons upgrades, maybe a pair of Rhinos/Dropods and you will have a really good "generic" Legion to play.

Yep- its a timeline I'd guessed at as well so thats why I'm going for it!

They are fairly packing out the release weeks these days so nothing would surprise me popping up in the schedule.

It's good value, but still a very expensive pre-order weekend overall. So, as someone who is both 30k and AoS focused, I've got to admit to being relieved there is a 2 week window, gives my card chance to cool down.

Quite interesting : can’t wait to see synergies, spells and warscrolls for Sylvaneth. It seems they really understood the DNA of the army (just like NH !)

 

Interesting too concerning IDK : even if it is a very good anti shooting army, it’s also a very interesting and rewarding army on its own…

Looks like it'll be about 170 euro online for 40 marines, 10 terminators, 2 characters, a dreadnought and a land raider

Half tempted to do a post-heresy successor chapter, maybe Crimson Fists 🤔

@Beliman, is this points analysis just for 30k? Or is 40K included? I ask because I plan on buying the box and converting at least the axe praetor into a Chaos Space Marines Master of Executions (he just needs a different helmet). Either way this is very exciting.

Only for 30k and using a specific Rite of War (Pride of Legion with only MSU Veterans). With a weapon upgrade box and maybe 1 legion unit, the box is going to be around 2500-3000 points

Sorry to say but I don't know about 40k. I will start playing with the League of Votann /sadface.

It's fine brother, enjoy the new squats without any shame or grief. The Leagues of Votann give me nothing but hope! After all, if the squats can come back, then who's to say that the LEGIONS OF LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!! are not far behind? either way my Night Lords and noise marines are gonna get a huge boost. That "new" rhino kit has a mark II helmet! do you know how long I've been looking for a mark II helmet? at least a year and a half! I can finally do my "true veteran" night lord conversion!
