  1. Khorne already has Khorngors! Just in a different game...
  2. If anything, the last sentence tells me it's fake: it's been a popular theory for a while that GW would leak stuff themselves but it just ruins their communication/marketing, so I don't believe it. And I trust Whitefang more than an anonymous with educated guesses.
  3. Tzaangors? *Edit: nevermind you said GAs and not factions! But it'd work the same I guess
  4. The game can't extend indefinitely, you need cuts at some points, especially if they are introducing new factions. It sucks for people who get their army axed but it's a necessary evil for the game to last.
  5. It was from May 2nd to June 2nd, it's different than the indexes: it's just a teaser for each faction of what's changing/staying. So it was before the release. Indexes got published during the preorder window, and core rules were also fully available before the release (early June, after the faction previews)
  6. 40k 10th edition had had 36 articles + 24 faction focus, I'm expecting something similar for AoS. That's a lot of articles...
  7. Most competitive players like/love the double turn: the only people I've met who do not like it are either not playing the game (and just criticizing) or very casual. So it's not surprising that Matt got this answer when he asked competitive players, playtesters and influencers: he just simply didn't ask casual players, because he doesn't meet them since they don't go the the tournaments, and that's where he talks to players. When Matt Rose ask players who really enjoy the game to the point of spending a lot of money to go play AoS for 2+ days if they like one of its defining mechanic, of course the answer is yes, otherwise they wouldn't be there.
  8. It has communication value, people talk about the game and argue on stuff, which is just good for GW at this point: it allows to build the interest and hype longer But yeah it has very little value for the players unfortunately... The only thing I got from today's article is the information that the initiative and priority rolls stay the same, only there is a small drawback for taking a double turn (and we already knew that last part, so really only the first part is new info)
  9. No, it's only if you willingly take the double, not if you give it to your opponent: "when you choose to take a double turn, you give up your opportunity to pick a battle tactic for the turn"
  10. Didn't they actually change it afterwards because it created too many issues?
  11. They didn't have minimum quantity orders, it's actually the opposite. GW removed the quota for boxes they had during the pandemic for Dominion and let FLGS order as many as they wanted, so they ordered a lot of them, but not really more than they needed, maybe just a little more. The issue is GW first delivered only a few boxes to each store, and they did sell out immediately, while GW kept selling Dominion through their stores and online store. So when the rest of the boxes got delivered to the FLGS a couple months later, all their clients already bought Dominion through GW and there was no demand for it anymore. That's why most FLGS stores still have Dominion boxes to this day...
  12. Bonesplitterz actually got mentioned in the video of the Metawatch article with the Battlescroll! Regarding the Dominion box, I'd recommended watching this: Jordan explains (around 30min in) what happened with Dominion and it's very interesting. Long story short is wasn't a flop but just a ****** move from GW.
