I am going to purchase the old collection of a friend. 5450 points in old empire when combined with what I already had (which I am sure I can all use in a new city) plus 20 empire knights and two cannon/mortars. Here they are marching across my table, accompanied by some older tree men who don't quite have stats any more, and a few Ents who are providing moral support (albeit slowly!) Including my Skaven-themed endless spells, 2 allied Cannons, and the Foulrain Congregation battalion, it adds up to 10,470. The army is theoretically 5880 points, but isn't really a legal AoS force. Some stuff, like the adventurers don't have stats, and the Steam Tank wouldn't really be allowed in a WFB Dwarf army, which is what this essentially is. One of my favourite colections though! From Left to Right: Magmadroth, Mine carts, Thunderers, Quarrelers, Gyrocoptors and aviator, Slayers, Adventurers, Hammerers, Longbeards. Smithy with Runelords, Runesmiths and Anvils of Doom (plus Fyreslayer forge), Drunken Dwarves and Battle standard bearer, High King on Throne of Power, Iron Drakes and Ironbreakers. Legions of Nagash I've been meaning to put all of my nighthaunt units into a legions of Nagash list for a while, and see what it came out as, and it turns out that both halves of the army are around 2500, so the whole is well over 5000. I've included the Ghouls in the photo as well, so that they don't feel left out, I'm not sure if I'd actually have enough ally points for them at 5K or not! Even without titans the armies are smaller. I think its deliberate as whilst it is an army system its also "new". Insomniacfalco Posted October 4, 2019 Share Posted October 4, 2019 I was setting up all my models on my table, but I gave up after awhile when I realized how many bins I still had left. For reference I have 3 big bins and 4 small bins left on the left-hand side of the table. I've only put out 1 big bin and 2 small bins so far... I've been collecting roughly 12 armies (RIP greenskinz/gitmob) The last time I took an inventory I had around 1500models but I'm certain it's gone up since then. Finished painting my Knight Questor to end up on 5000 points on the nose! Although it pales next to some of the amazing collections in this thread I must admit that I'm pretty pleased with it, especially considering that just over two years ago I had never painted a miniature in my life.
