  1. Looks nice, I only wish GW would stop making maps on double pages like this. It's really hard for wikis to get maps without losing some space in the binding section of the book. For the english community it is a little easier because they can use digital content but this doesn't work in case of other languages.
  2. So, now that the army box is going into preorder it will be interesting to see how long it takes until we get the rest of the stuff. If we get it in july, august or if it will be fall until then. Before corona it could have been april for this box and may for the rest. In comparison to the Adapta Sororitas it was november for the box and january when they started releasing codex and units separately (so about 2 months) I actually don't know why it bothers you. Its the core rule booklet they put into each army/2 player Box Set, that you can also download for free not the 320 Page Corebook In Germany it is 11AM Berlin (MESZ).
  3. There isn't actually much in the rules. the Siege Rules (most reasoned release in Wrath of the Everchosen) only states that the defender places 5 terainpieces wholly within his territory. In older rules there were examples where 2 Numinous Occulum and 3 Ophidian Archways or 5 of the old Citadel Woods (the Bases with 3 Trees on it)
  4. It's 2D6 times two. if the rule wanted to role 4D6 it would say so. As a comparion the other weapons. Doom Flayer = More-more Whirling Death Warpfire Thrower = More-more Warpfire! Doom-Wheel = More-more Warp Bolts Warp Lighting Cannon = More-more Warp-Lighning All these Rules raise the amount of Dice that are thrown and neighter of them use the term "double the Attacks Characteristic. If they wanted to roll 4D6 the rule would look like this
  5. I also thought that this sunday would be the day, but after it wasn't I think next week will really be the day because the June 26th is the official release date of the White Dwarf after they rescheduled it. So those people that hadn't there WD already will most likely get the Battletome and Miniatures for Lumineth Realmlords + the White Dwarf rules for Warcry for them (which was most likely the decision for rescheduling the White Dwarf in the first place. And People were basicly waiting for Deadly Alliance since last week of March because without Corona, Pre-Order would have been on March 28th for that box while I can only guess that the Lumineth Realmlords would most likely have there release about May 22nd (maybe the boxset in April) because of the White Dwarf Article.
  6. I haven't seen all abilities (even though I should have most of the books, but focus myself on AoS lore at the moment) but I would actually say no. They have heroes that give additional points at the start of the game and they have Abilities that let regenerate CP with a dice roll when using a stratagem.
  7. "Wounds Allocated to the Model" are all wounds that are currently allocated to the model. A wound get's allocated and than it is allocated to the model until it the model is either slain or the wound get's healed. We see this for example in the corerules for slain models and healing wounds. The Artefact triggers when the model would be slain (so when the wounds allocated to him are equals his wound characteristic). The rule for healing wounds wouldn't work if only wounds that are allocated in during one attack would coun't because most Healing Wounds Abilities aren't used in the steps the model actually takes damage.
  8. The Problem with the comparrision between CP in AoS and 40k is that in AoS we get 1 point per round while 40k has the maxiumum of points at the start of the game. In 8. Edition 40k it was 3 Points Core + X Points for each Detachment (and you can have more than 1). So an Elite Army has 4-5 Points because their detachments only generate 1 Point, while someone who has cheap core infantry could basicly spam CP and start with 12-20 CP that can be used by the elite stuff. Players playing multiple Detachments and/or playing multiple factions are favoured here. From the rumores for 9th Edition they turn this arround that you start with maybe 12 CP but your detachments cost CP (except the coredetachment with the Warlord). That way monodetachment Lists get favored over multidetachment Lists. (Basicly like the Allegiance Rules of AoS where a Monofaction has better Allegiance Abilities. Now we have AoS where you get 1 CP per round + 1 CP at the start of Game per Battalion + maybe addition CP if a model has a ability for it. So if you don't get Command Abilities for free you have 1 maybe 2 CP to use or you have to wait rounds to get more CP. The only faction that has many points at the moment are the Ossiarch Bonereapers because they have their own System. Without Command Abilities for Free, most of the time you will have more options to spent points than points in your pool (so the decisions matter).
  9. I would say Spell-eater has to be used at the start of the Herophase because dispelling Endless Spells is restricted to the start of the Herophase. The only difference to the Myrmourn Banshees is that the banshees have to roll dice to disspell it and the Lord of Change does it automaticly with the abilitiy. The point for the sentence "can attempt to dispel the endless spell in the same manner as a Wizard." is used because the Myrmourn Banshees aren't wizards and you normally need the WIZARD Keyword to Dispell Endless Spells. The Lord of Change doen't need the Sentence because he is a wizard.
  10. This is what you are searching for, for the cycle of the Storm (Stormcast Eternals FAQ) There is not really a specific order because most of the time it doesn't really matter after you decide which attacks target which model before rolling any dice for the unit and you normally add up the wound pool for all attacks the model uses for the target unit and allocate them later, but slayer of Kings would apply before any wounds are allocated to the target because it triggers on woundrolls. There were some rare cases where the order mattered (Grundstok Thunderers, Orruk Brutes) but their rules were changed.
  11. I think next sunday could be the day for the "Lumineth Next Week Preorder" Post (in worst case 1 week later). My assumpion for this is that they put the releasedate for White Dwarf 454 on last June week, even though some already have it since mid may. If we get the Post on sunday (June, 7.), preorder will be starting on June 13. and release would be on June 20. and then the white Dwarf on June 26. If it is one week later the Lumineth would be on preorder at Juni 20. and White Dwarf und Army will be out on the same weekend. At least we doesn't have the problem the Blackstone Fortress player have. Deadly Alliance was announced for next weeks preorder the week before the shutdown (and it isn't on preorder yet). My most interest is actually the Battletome because I want to see how the Lore will look like in it's complete state. Hopefully the Armyorganisation will not be as weird as the Sylvaneth one where they discripe that the households are the military armies of the of the sylvaneth and than a Household is 1 Treelord, 1 Branchwych and 1 unit of Tree-Revenants. I mean, the Forest folk battalion looked more like an army than the household.
-- So to give a status here. Since my last report about 6 months ago, Sigmarpedia has reached 1054 articles (thats a plus of about 800 articles). The holes in the wiki are still big like barn doors but it is going on. A little German-spoken support would still be nice.
  13. Actually Daughters of Khaine is the third oldest Faction Battletome. Maggotkin of Nurgle is the oldest at the moment followed by Legions of Nagash.
  14. I normally would say, no. The corerules state: At least the model would have to be designed that it has the Horn, the Standard and is visible as Champion (still don't know if putting all three positions on that model would coun't as "appropriate Citadel Miniature". And if there will be a rule change later that strictly says that they can't be the same your model would be invalid later. I simply wouldn't do it. You need 4 Models to place the Banner Bearer and Horn Blower in the first place, so using 3 Models is the easiest way to go.
  15. It's basicly this point of the Malign Sorcery FAQ: Acutally no zu the moving part, because the rule Arcane Passage states this (its the updated version of the Errata but it only added the second sentence): The predatory Endless Spell can only use the Spell Portal if it finishes it's movement within 6". So it's only replaced and can't move again this turn. The problem with the damage is, that the Endless Spell triggers the damage after finishing the movement. The redeploying with the Spell Portal shouldn't be movement it should be a set up, so the endless spell does his damage most likely before it is redeployed with Arcane Passage.
  16. It depents what the battleplan says. Many Battleplans use the standard Opjective Rules that @GrimDork has mentioned here: The Battleplans that do not use them normally start with the sentence "The normal rules for controlling an objective are not used in this battle. Instead... In those missions the battleplan states what rules are used. For example in "Duality of Death", only Heros and Battleline units can capture Objectives and they have to stay within 3" to hold them and 1 Unit holds it, (while Missions that use the Corerules of Page 10 can leave the Objective and hold it until the opponent player has more models in range)
  17. The Story with Josh Reynolds is not really part of the "2020 bad news train". It's from the "2019 bad news train", because we had the information since June 2019.
  18. Endless spells are not restricted by allegiance, they are only restricted you can summon them. If you want to play them you need either Nighthaunt Wizards or Nagash. It's not forbidden in the rules of the Legion of Grief like in with Legions of Sacrament, Legions of Night or Legion of Blood and he could be General if he wants without including Lady Olynder in the List because he doesn't have the Mortarch Keyword, but you basicly spent 44% of your points in a 2000 Point army in a single model and it doesn't make much sense lorewise.
  19. I think I made some updates inside one of my projects. The latest Version I made was 2.6.2 in January 2019. Here is also the project were I have some of my models: Fire, ice, light and shadow. An Aelf collection project. The frustrating part was when GW removed the Lion Rangers from the product range. There was the plan making an Update after the Cities of Sigmar Release but I never done it.
  20. He can only pick 4 during the phase, not at the start of the phase because 4 has no rules to attack during the start of the phase. Here are basicly the FAQ Questions. And these once that basicly clarify that you can attack in a later subphase. So unit 3 can attack during the phase if it hasn't attacked at the start of the phase, but then it is a normal activation, but then Player A can attack with one of his units.
  21. Is it "always attacks first" or "attacks at the start of the Combatphase". I think it's the last one, (because "fighting first" and "fighting last" were basicly the old terms before changing it to ("fight at the start of the combatphase"/"fight at the end of the combatphase"). The phases are devided into 3 subphases. Start of the Phase During the Phase End of the Phase Now it works this way. It's Player B Turn. He has a unit with "fighting at the start of the Combat phase" so he activates this unit to fight. When he has other units with such a rule he can activate them all one after the other. When he is finished, Player A can activate all units he has with "fighting at the start of the Combat phase" that can charge at the moment. When player A is finished we come to "During the Phase" Here, players activate alternately, beginning with the active player. End of the phase works the same way as start of the phase for all units that are forced to attack at the end of the phase. With the example above, Player B would activate Unit 3 first, than during the phase he would activate unit 4 and after that Player A would activate the first unit. Sadly this was only descriped in a Warhammer Community Article and parts of the FAQ. I really hope we will get a corerule Update in the future, where the "start" , "during" , "end" mechanic is included into the rules itself.
  22. @Deciem I don't know why you ask the same question in two different threads. I gave you an answer in the rules thread:
  23. Short answer, no. In the rules it is stated that you handle the attacks from one against another unit completly before you do the next. If he would attack the Gothizzar Harvester and the Mortek Guard with one unit, he would make all attacks against either the Harvester or the Mortek Guard, and than when all wounds are allocated and finished he would roll attacks against the other unit. Corerules, Page 6, Second Paragraph
  24. Technically the Warp-Grinder and the Clanrats should be 2 drops. First drop: Placing the Warp-Grinder in Reserve Second drop: placing the clan rats in reserve when you can place the next unit. (the reason would be the sentence "... ,when you would set up another friendly Skaventide unit, ...")
  25. In case of the Allegiance Spells he gets 1 additional spell but he can choose from which table he wants to get the spell. Page 76
