I would like there to be actual tanks in the game. I think only Gotek and Frosthearth Phoenix are the only true tanks right now. When everything is just a super high damage dealer or support piece nothing has personality -

Its just sad that most units with healing dont get a dpr at all. Goes to waste there -

Kinda think the massive scenery movement trays are weird and would be hard to play with but those mounted guys are damn nice -
In my honest opinion GW points hero phase healing abilities way too high when dpr is infinitely better. In the worst case scenario your hero who relies on healing to be tanky might go trough 3 combat and 2 enemy shooting phases before getting a single opportunity to regain wounds when a hero with dpr can constantly block wounds. How is this balanced in anyway? My personal experiences with this include Troggoths and Nurlge units.

So I finished my first unit of Blightkings yesterday after a long break from painting stuff. Im very happy with how they came out and have two more units unpainted. Next I might work on a Verminlord Corruptor or a block of Plague Monks have to see what I'm feeling like. So here is the full unit of Kings These two are my favourite ones I did. I really love the helmets on these guys. And here is everything I have ready right now. 5 Monks, 5 Blightkings, Lord of Plagues and a Glottkin. The tree behind there is still a WIP but it will be a nice Gnarlmaw proxy -

Yeah when you get +1 and -1 you just have the basic save of 4+ -

Modifiers are applied after rerolls. So with the ability to reroll failed saves you can indeed only reroll 1,2 and 3 in this situation. I believe the 1" up and 1" down is the correct way to play terrain but I'm not 100% on that but locally we rule it like that. -

In my experience store owners know almost nothing about the rules and AoS rules dont follow the same logic as 40k. I think the dude you talked to was wrong.

Yeah I would really like to see actually unique rules from time to time. We have allegiance abilities that do cool unique stuff but warscrolls and such seem to just be the same stuff all the time. -
I dont think thats correct on your part. Gotrek reads "If the damage inflicted by an attack, spell or ability that targets or affects this model is greater than 1, change it to 1" When you roll attacks you can deal 1 damage for every attack becouse the rules of AoS state you actually roll every attack seperately but can roll multiple at the same time to speed it up so the best way to kill Gotrek is multiple attacks. A spell that rolls 13 dice and deals mortals is all rolled at the same time and is a single source to it can only deal 1 damage. Same with the WLC it can only deal 1 damage as its only one attack/ability how ever you take it.

So In AoS 2.0 we have seen DPR (Damage prevention roll) becoming hugely important as mortal wounds became more common and now you expect things to have it to be good. Then fights first abilities slowly came the thing you expect everyone to have to be good and now we are seeing better rend coming in to the game with Bonesplitters being able to ignore DPR. Do you think this ability will be the next thing GW starts slapping everywhere or not?

Personally if I was to build some of these I would go for the long charges and halberts and use them as a fast unit to kill enemy elites.

I think he means a ton by something like someone running a lot of squig hoppers and such. Its still a low ammount of rolls compared to a unit of plague monks throwing 200+ attacks.

I like to imagine that the bad moon just makes grots pop out of the ground. I mean it has strange magical powers that makes massive ammounts of mushrooms grow where it goes so I think it would make sense that naked grots would start crawling out of the ground as well. This would also go with the old world idea of greenskins just appearing out of nowhere. -
This hobby for me is 80% modelling and painting and 20% playing so I choose my armies on how much I like the look.

Everyone you can stop making lists I have figured it all out. This is what we call EVERYONE HELP THE MIGHTY SLAYER!!!! Leaders Gotrek (He is the list) Jade Battlemage (Heals and gives Gotrek a 6++ save) Archmage (Gives everything around him a 6++ save protecting Gotrek and his crew) Freeguild General (This dude helps the shooters shoot all the small stuff infront of Gotrek) Units Luminarch of Hysh (Gives Gotrek and his crew a 6++ save) 5x Sisters of the Thorn (Gives Gotrek save rerolls) 30x Freeguild Crossbowmen (Shoot all the small stuff infront of Gotrek) 30x Freeguild Crossbowmen (Shoot all the small stuff infront of Gotrek) 10x Freeguild Guard (We need a battleline) Spells Balewind Vortex (Put the battlemage here so he doesnt go into danger but can heal Gotrek) Chronomatic Cogs (Makes the team of murder a lot faster) Its fool proof guys this is how we beat everyone. Trust me at the end you have a Gotrek with a 4+ rerollable save, 3++ save, 6++ save, 6++ save and a 6++ save. What can the enemy do?
