    Good shout ! Haven't thought about that at all, but what I love about the Herald on Burning chariot in my friendly games is that it makes my other Burning Chariot battleline.

    You got me really interested. What will your approach be? Rather top-down or bottom-up? By which I mean, using existing theories (maybe in different fields, Art of War etc.) and finding ways to make them more relevant to our game, or try to start from a really broad and in depth understanding of the current state of the game and drawing theories from it?

    Has anybody realised that a Knight-Venator from the Hallow Knights in Plague Garden also claims to be the last prince of Ekran? I'd even say he seems to share some of the traits, (especially in his pride for his martial skills).

    Sorry haven't caught up with most of what was written after this. But I would really advise for a Verminlord Corruptor. His buff of attacks works with Skaven Keyword (so most of your armies) but is deadly with charging Plague Monks. Wizard caster with 2 spells every turn and is relatively cheap (220 points) everything he does in combat is bonus from there onwards.

    This is probably what I love the most about AoS, mixed army around a common theme. And I like the autumn bases :D

    Technically it's in the designers commentary. EDIT. It actually does not specify every ten, I inferred that from warscrolls such as Namarti Thralls / Reavers.

    HA! I haven't lost everything then :p Nothing prevents from Stacking 1 Glottkin and 1 Verminlord Corruptor command ability EDIT: Hadn't seen "Three times" that's too much! Haha. I also saw the errata saying you can have one banner / musician for every ten. which means you benefit from both MW on wound rolls of 6 making other 6, and additional Rend -1 . I just went for most chances to do MW to be fair.

    That's currently how I play them. I have a list where my heroes are named character so the Verminlord came in as a great General (two spells, daemon, not named, quite cheap) to put my Command Trait and Artefact. I intend it to run as my competitive list, but I'm not expecting to finish top 10 in a big tournament any time soon haha. Argh. That makes me regret a bit my choice then, went with my gut feel instead of proper maths. Stupid question, does the maths remain constant when you stack the same type of Command Ability (+1 Attack per melee weapon) ?

    My point of view, is that Blades and Staff are better because the Verminlord Corruptor grants +1 attack for each melee weapon. Which makes +2 Attack per Rat, and if they charged the same turn already went from 2 attacks with the blade to 3. Makes a lot of attacks for gooey-rats in togas!

    Agreeing with on these with my two pennies. I think that in reality allegiances are twofold, on one hand there are allegiance for army building and allegiance abilities, and choosing one does not equate to choosing the other even if the conditions to meet the requirements are the same. Another Order example is the Order Draconis, who do not have allegiance abilities of their own, but can be played as their own type of army for them to become battleline. I would push it even further and say that a Clan Pestilens army to have Plague Monks as battleline, could be played under the Nurgle allegiance abilities(whilst respecting that only 400 points could be allied of without the Pestilens keyword, chosen in the list of allies). Because the requisite for that allegiance to be chosen is "all the units in the army must have the Nurgle keyword". Slightly off topic, but I hope it explains how I see and understand the system to be working.

    Okay, I never comment and I am definitely more of a lurker. But this army is incredible !
