I was clearly thinking about those flags. Like Abraxia. To unify the range.... so in order to unify it better we need another Kruleboyz as a Memorian. This time handing more banners. There are never enough banners.

I.e. non-vertically challenged Chaos Dwarfs army.

It is clear that GW wants to attract some of the 40k players to AoS via SCE. This is a good move, because it means more profit for AoS and this then results in more investments in AoS.
Maybe at the cost of 40K, but perhaps also that 40K profits will remain the same, but that AoS will come closer thanks to the upcoming new edition.

I saw this graph in the Honest Wargamer discord and it shows how huge 40k is.

For completeness, also a graph of TOW and AoS. It proves nothing, other than that 40K IP is immense.

Imho, that's exactly what I expected.

Edite: Any teaser about what are we going to see for 4oS today?

Now I am looking at the Reclusors again... do you also agree that much of the model looking good is due to the the change of color schema?

I do not. It’s the improved sculpt.

Ha! That's a very interesting point! Imagine following your grandfather everywhere but he can teleport himself and you have to run after him. It would be like losing an elder man and having to look for it in the Mortal Realms.

I would love next weeks mini to be a Rat Ogre.

The 6th Edition Rat Ogres are still the pinnacle for me and are what made me collect a small Skaven army in WHFB. 7th Edition? What a downgrade!!

Wait you mean to say they actually used to look cool? I've never seen these models these are cool as hell.

Anyone notice this from yesterday's painting video? Pretty cool looking map. Screenshot_20240416-1151412.png.80132dfbf5cf7ba97d0d3021c19821bf.pngScreenshot_20240416-1151372.png.70dfeb5d81ab8bcee51c716f999435b4.pngScreenshot_20240416-1151302.png.3901b54f2756de60a0843a3320c56b5e.png

Yeah the april fools icon of Hel Crown @Ejecutor right

A warcry setting of a former Khorne bastion turn free city in the admist of Vermindoom would be a good setting. Check off all the mordheim vibes

Too much work was put on an emblem just for the April Fools. Is the second time used and with a proper map? Not a coincidence.

I am really hoping it is hinting to something especially since, like you said, it is a lot of work for just an April Fools. It would be very interesting to see that Chaos forces were also tied up by Skaven.

Sure they are both Chaos but it isn't exactly the first time different factions have come to blows, it could be seen as an insult to have the Skaven pop up parking their city in the front lawn of your fortress and be seen as a challenge.

Also while people are waiting for Darkoath and Abraxia I recommend reading/ listening to Scourge of Fate. Half way through it at the moment but it does have Chaos warriors and Darkoath with the story being about one Chaos Warrior in particular on the path to becoming a Varanguard so a decent story to tie in with upcoming releases.

Remember how when 10th Edition 40k released there was that narrative campaign where player would decide who won between the Ultramarines and Tyranids fighting over that planet?

I reckon Helcrown will be 4th editions version of that. Will Helcrown fall to the Skaven or will the stormcast drive them back? You decide!! (Only £120)

Maybe all the stores run the events with their own cities but the one taking the consequences lorewise is Helcrown?

Very likely. If we turn them all gold they would look ******.

New Liberators look better in gold than silver to me.

The Reclusions will look great in weathered Hammers colours as well.
