The Rumour Thread

That kill team space hulk looks grand. Kroot are always awesome and the others would be great for necromunda as would the terrain...

they note it the article that its perfect for the "worlds best sci fi skirmish game " good of them to acknowledge that it will be a great haul of minis and terrain for Stargrave too!

It does miss elevated platforms, but that's probably why they put the books in.

Measuring sticks can easily become terrain as well.

Would also be using it for Stargrave and Starfinder 2.

That's underselling it. As far as I am aware, they haven't been wrong once but there's a first time for everything I suppose.

They are sometimes a bit vague though. I believe the confidence interval is to account for our own imperfect interpretations of their perfect prophecies. :D

I don’t remember him reacting to anything about Warcry, last things where Tzeentch, LRL, and Sons coming next, the RE creepers where related to the Sons release. And that cursed city expansion are not exactly new model releases like BSF was

I could be wrong but I thought he just said that this year's expansions don't include new models. That wouldn't preclude expansions next year having new models.

When referring to this week having a look at the future of Warcry, did they just mean the Warband updates?

Im usually a pretty positive guy but when it comes to AOS its hard to not be disheartened at times. We have had very little since 3.0 launched, and before that little since end of 2020 which is almost 2 years ago at this point.

With 10th Edition due next year, unless GW pumps out some massive releases for AOS before then, it may end up being a slow Edition.

Era of the Beast was touted as Destructions Edition and so far very little has happend for them, narratively wise almost nothing at all.

Things may change yet but as of now its dissapointing that we have more rumours of things such as Chaos Duardin, Ulgu Aelves and Dawnbringer Crusades, than of Fations due in the next few months.

RANT OVER.

Sorry everyone needed to vent.

@KingBrodd Stay strong, fan of the fatties! Do not let the corporate marketing vampires getcha!! Sit back, maybe take a peek at your current projects or even older ones and see if you can knock something out or spiffy up an old piece!

Do not fall prey to the man, man.

Remember why you enjoy the hobby. Oh, and look into Frostgrave. Its awesome. 🤘🦄🤘

Understandable Your Swoleness, we all need to scream into a pillow at times. Though I’m upset that we didn’t get any Warcry news. I am admittedly excited about the Necromunda update, mostly because I’m using the Vheciles for a dark-mechanicus army. Here’s hoping we get SOMETHING within the next few days.

We don't have rumours of chaos dwarves or shadow elves, just speculation.

We've had the same with grotbag scuttlers, silent people and kurnothi.

I know it's frustrating not to get news of stuff but hopfully we'll get a big preview soon seeing as they've done a preview for skirmish games and have the upcoming lotr preview.

One would assume that we get a preview for 40k and AoS.

I look at it this way, my wallet gets a break lol.

When they mean future they probably mean that the new edition and new rules that are comming

because they have not happen yet since the box has not been physically out yet until tomarrow

Nova is probably the next big preview show but we are already aware of most of the new AoS release for the next 2 quarter outside of specialist and side games. I doubt we get anything massive and suprising until LVO next year

It's not released until next Saturday so maybe we'll see something next week.

It depend since they may cycle through to more Killteam articles when Into the Dark comes out and then double back to Warcry when it get close to the next boxset, it not like we where expecting more warbands to be reveal and release until the next boxset if we compare to how they did Killteam releases all of last year.
