Overread
Whilst GW weren't very smart with a lot of how they launched AoS, they had one very clear intention with the Realm system. It's a system designed to offer the least resistance to casual creative freedom within the setting. With 8 realms where most factions will and do appear on each realm and do settle and have lands in those realm that means you can almost have any race from any realm. They've done overt showings of things like goblins and skaven stealing khadoran airships - ample encouragement for gamers to convert. They've got very few restrictions on what stories or ideas can be followed and the realm system means a BL author can almost do whatever they want without having to check in with GW or restrict the story because in teh end it can happen in some far off isolated area and they can create whole races for themselves that would neve have to appear or interact with any others. Of course with great freedom comes other problems; but in general it means that you don't want to ever assume that anything you read in a BL book or in many books will ever translate to a model or race or faction. Even almost certain releases like Malarion and Soulblight could still never appear (Cathay, Araby, Nippon, Amazonians and others appeared in BL books for years with the Old World and yet they never translated to armies or if they did it was a Mordhiem warband - like an Underworld team.
El Antiguo Guardián
I think is a zombie bsb. Why? First of all the colours of the image and the day of the release. Halloween, that pumpking colours... Then, the *. The man is scared but they said that he can flee easily. So if is a zombie, is normal that he is scared but a normal warrior of any AoS army is not going to be scared from a zombie. I think that joke is because that. I tried to give light to the photo but is imposible. Also, some of the dark things of the image remembers me to the dire wolves.

Ogregut
So what's the predictions for this afternoons article? I'm really hoping for broken realms and blood and pain to be announced along with a preview for next Saturday. I'm fully prepared for bloodbowl, which to be fair is also pretty cool.

I fully expect some kind of Death reveal. It is Dia de Muertos (Day of the dead) today. We've had tons of semi-death related rumor images. GW has to have been backed up on armies due to the lockdowns. We've gotten new stuff for Chaos, Destruction and Order this year. It's time for Death. Considering Death is legitimately the smallest alliance.
Overread
The Death Teaser suggests something far further off heck GW showed about as much a month back for 40K for other factions getting new models and since then we've not seen anything. Right now I'm expecting Bloodbowl second season to go up this weekend. Shadow and Pain perhaps the week after, though I'm VERY open to that order swapping around. I'd love to get my hands on Shadow and Pain and the Morathi book.

Model wise at least.
Overread
Destruction I'd love to see get a new army. Of all the Grand Alliances and of all the factions that have appeared (like Ossiarchs); Destruction is the GA and theme that I'd love to see explored outside of greenskins and ogors. Something that takes the concept of the wilderness and wild factions and nomadic lifestyles and does something with it that's just different to what the others present. I think Order and Death both have armies we can see that are logical to add to them from what's happened in lore and model wise; we can see where the next big release for them "should" be. Chaos almost seems pretty complete in a sense and its more expecting to see them flesh out demon armies and finish updating Slaves etc.... Destruction though is ripe for an update; both in terms of fleshing out Greenskin armies, but also in terms of stepping up and adding something totally new.
Ogregut
In the current climate I'm not sure GW would use a culture's traditions and holidays to sell models. Same with using the year of the rat to release Skaven. I'm not sure it's appropriate to use one of the world's largest nations celebrations to release evil, megalomaniacal rat men as much as we would all love to see new models. Sidenote, I didn't realise the day of the dead was the same as All Saints Day but now I think about it, makes sense. Learn something new everyday!

To be honest l I don't think GW pays attention to those things intentionally unless a release happens to coincide. If GW had a big chunk of Skaven to release this year you'd bet they'd dress it up as YEAR OF THE RA...SKAVEN! If GW didn't then the community would in a heartbeat. So yeah if GW had a "Grimkin" style army ready around Halloween for release, yep they'd certainly use it. No different to how slews of companies sell pumpkins, sweets and bedsheets with holes in at high prices for the holiday.

Difference there is, how Halloween is celebrated today is very much a western thing. A British company taking a Chinese tradition to sell some rat models is a different thing entirely.

Black and orange everywhere, from bakeries to supermarkets, from toy shops to bars. Neither is offensive, IMHO, unless someone would find a Chinese manufactuer/business selling stuff using, say, Christmas as offensive., and I am fairly certain that 90% of Western people would not (and those that do probably dislike the commercialisation of a religious holiday in the West too - so it happening in China wouldn't even be a factor anyway). I wouldn't find it offensive at all however I'm sure some would and in the world of social media a tiny minority can speak with a loud voice. Anyway, what do we think tonight's article will show? Fyrenn
So, with the upcoming Morathi book that claims you can have both versions of her out on the field at the same time - this sort of aligns with that image shown previous where they were both out. Do we have ANY other info about this I might have missed? One thing i'd want more than anything is to have big scary morathi as more of an 'aspect' and not specifically her. I don't really love the idea of named characters but the model is so awesome. It's sufficiently vague where i'm not sure if it's indicating it's still Morathi or an independent model. Icarion
This model alone makes me want to start a small Kharadron Force, themed around Bugman's classic Rangers.
