Ben
The contest is over. I check the votes and the times they were cast (both front runners voted for themselves at the 11th hour in true @Stevewren fashion!) and i can announce that the winner is @Arbaal with this fantastic paint job. I also drew a random entry using random.org and the number that can back gave @bottle the prize. Can both the winner DM me with details of how to get prizes out to you. Congrats to everyone the took part and massive thanks to all the help promoting the forums with this contest.
FrederickD
Congragulations to both winners! And thank you Ben for this contest. I saw some great paintjobs and conversion and it was very enjoyable following everyone's progress over the last month. I hope there will be more contests like this in the future. KhaosZand3r
Congrats to the winners. Honestly surprised a non-converted model won, though I guess I shouldn't be since the point was painting.
Double Misfire
Congrats to both winners and every one who entered. Great competition all round.
Chikout
Congratulations to everyone. It was a great contest with a whole bunch of amazing entries. In the end it was the best paint job versus the best conversion and painting just won out. Looking forward to the next one.
swiftmus
Congrats everyone! The competition was great fun and encouraged me to push my painting skills. Would definitely love to see more such competitions in future (with or without prizes, it's good motivation either way).
Booah
Congratulations to everyone. Here is hoping for another free model next month! Okay, maybe unlikely but hopefully another competition in the future would retain interest.
cb_rex
Well done everyone who entered, in my opinion Elfhead's entry was the best but with better photography, and a cooler colour scheme Arbaal's entry won out, 28 to 27 votes I think, so a super close call! In fact there were several fantastic entries, so it was hard to pick the best . It's great to see such fierce competition and collective great painting on TGA. elfhead
Congrats to @Arbaal and @bottle! A very deserved win. I had a blast with this competition and it was a lot of fun seeing the votes go up, I was always just one step behind the winner. I'm very happy with the amount of votes that I got, I never thought it would be that close. It's probably for the best, I allready have to much unpainted models waiting for some attention. Thanks for all the votes! I started an instagram account for this and it was really fun getting likes for my entry. @Mengel Miniatures branding my slaughterpriest 'model of the week' just put the cherry on top. fartsocks
Congratulations. I missed out on the vote, but was going to vote for Arbaal anyway. Thanks to all the entrants, a lot of great models on display, I especially enjoyed the conversions and different colour schemes.
judging_jester
Congrats to the winners and also to everyone that posted pictures. One of my favourite aspects of the hobby is looking at the work of excellent painters and thinking "how did they do that?", it both impresses me and pushes me to do better. Well done to all and keep posting those pictures!
