love the color palalte. I have done my IronJawz in bone and black armour and had notions of doing my Mawcrusher like yours. Looks so good! my other thought is to do the opposite: black Mawcrusher with the megabosss kitted out in nearly all bone armour.
  3. this is great! nice seeing a little color on the rats
  4. oh, this is so great! what a great port over to AoS functionality!

gorgeous! gosh, these models look so much better not floating on their spirit jet streams. I was planning on mounting mine on obstacles too; thanks for the confirmation to do just that!:)
  6. My brother lives about 20 minutes south of Franklin so this was a no brainer to justify a long trek down from Jersey for a proper visit and a proper tourney. Look forward to this!
  7. I thought the same thing as I was reading through the comp yesterday; trying to figure out if I was going to dump my drummer for the banner or vice-versa! thanks for inquiring and getting it cleared up.
  8. not that I really needed an excuse, but this certainly provides the necessary impetus to finally starting building a 'themed' warband that I have been itchy to do for some time. It's so easy to have the blinders on when you are painting your way through unit after unit in an army. this will serve as a nice distraction break from said units. Would be really cool down the road to see specific AoS28 gaming events/campaigns and tournaments. great stuff everyone!
  9. I guess I kind of liked the Sigmarines being what they were and how they performed on the battlefield. They could be tanking and shooty and slow, but have some deep strike capabilities to compensate for that. Now let's give them some speedy assault type troops; I think their functioning imbalance was kind of nice. Now they tick all the boxes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. yes, this is my growing concern too. as awesome as the Tzeentch release is, and as fluffy and poignant as the new rules are, are we about to get overly bloated with rules?!
  11. I agree completely. I am super psyched to finally see an official release of gryphounds (hooray!!) this is a bit disappointing to see them further bolster up the sigmarines. assault sigmarines are here...groan... Was definitely hoping to see their next Order release to be that of the free peoples, seeing as how they are starting to flesh out the living cities in the mortal realms.
  12. these really look amazing; what a great looking silver tower set!
  13. wow, this is really impressive; a really tasteful conversion in the bounty of the narrative of the model.
  14. great job! really love the orc-ish (orruk-ish) green conjuring smoke; a nice little and effective change to what is normally going on with this model. I just put mine together and there are a significant number of major seams on this model. thankfully the cloak covers a lot of them on his main body, but I still used several layers of liquid greenstuff and filing to try and eradicate the seams.
  15. really dig the color palette on this; really nice balance of contrast and color.
  16. This is a fantastic tool, thanks much for compiling all of the information!
