Michigan GT: A Haunting in Lansing

There are two gaming events that are always on my calendar every year, Adepticon and the Michigan GT. This past weekend the more local of those happened (the GT) and it was the first time my Nighthaunt under the new Battletome got a serious outing, so how'd they do? Read more »View the full article

Army Building in the Age of the Meta

The meta can be a tricky thing to navigate. It's that ever present element of competitive gaming within Warhammer, and lots of time it can lead to certain army builds if you want to tackle it effectively. Today I take a look at what that means and how concerned you actually need to be about it. Read more »View the full article

  5. Last month I went over what The Eighth Wonder of Ghur: A Tale of Four Warlords was, but this month I'm going to dive a bit deeper into my role in it. Specifically the temple of Khar Nair, my army of bloodthirsty Daughters of Khaine led by Hag Queen Lathori Bloodsorrow. So, why did I choose to go with the scions of Morathi? REVIEW: Beasts of Chaos

I remember the 6th edition Beasts of Chaos book way back when, with its combined forces of all things monstrous. It's been quite awhile since the wild creatures of chaos have been united under one book, but now it's back for AoS! So what secrets do the true children of Chaos hold? 11. I've always loved Tales of Four Gamers, or Warlords as they're called now. There's just something so satisfying about seeing the different armies and forces grow over the months. With that in mind I went to Eric, Jimbo, and Mitzy and we laid out a plan for our own Tale of Four Warlords, The Eighth Wonder of Ghur! Read more »View the full article

  13. As soon as I saw the new Nighthaunt range I was blown away by the Lady Olynder model. The simplicity of the model makes it so elegant and a painter's dream with all of the surfaces for blending. I knew right away I needed her leading my army, and promptly added her into my painting schedule. Read more »View the full article

    Faction Focus: Gutbusters

I remember when the Ogre Kingdoms first came out for Warhammer Fantasy back in 6th edition. It was an amazing looking army at the time, and the first army that really let you focus on a lower model count. Most of units from that army have made the transition over into AoS as the Gutbusters, and now wreak havoc across the realms, devouring all in their path. Today I take a deeper look at the Gutbusters and all of its warscrolls. Read more »View the full article
