The blind swordsman trope is fun to use, and despite my want for multiple eyesight vassals like I mentioned earlier in the thread. Plus, I know we’re going to get fluff on Tyrion in the book, even if we don’t get rules or a model, so that’s something, right?
DantePQ
Blind swordmaster trope has been already done - Eltharion had huge story arc - when he was captured by Malekith when he had seen through Dark Elves invasion plan , tortured and returned broken and blind to Ulthuan. He then started training under Bellanear to become blind swordmaster, he saved Alarielle by dueling Malekith and his dragon and was first ever being to wound Malekith in combat. He went on another crusade vs Malekith in Naggaroth and during the battle he won duel with Shadowblade only to get scratched by poisoned weapon. Then Alith Anar shows up and offers his help. ArchaicArc
Wasn’t it then retconned, from eltharion the blind to just eltharion the grim? I personally didn’t like that as I loved the progression eltharion has had if they keep it in. He is one of the few GW characters to have real change and progression and consequences. First he was a warden, then he invaded his cousins land, then goblins killed his family, then he was blinded and now he has had his body stripped from him. Like that’s awesome, other GW characters just get bigger, get turned into primaries or whatever, reach maximum power and then.... nothing, win a few battles, lose a few battles etc. But eltharion has been disabled, had his family slaughtered, lost his body... it’s just so much cooler like that (I think). LuminethMage
Yes it was. And even if it wouldn’t be, Tyrion is blind, a sword wielding warrior and the Lumineth have a strong Asian influence. So GW easily could go with a blind samurai type of character. Like Acid I also hope that at least we get more information about Tyrion in the BT, even if he is not part of this release. Falkman
This has to be (the) Scinari.
LuminethMage
Yup, they already updated the Lumineth mistakenly. We get Scinari Cathaller. (Edit not by mistake). And the people who thought she uses used aetherquartz were right. Beautiful model. Edited April 18, 2020 by LuminethMage
ArchaicArc
Disappointing. Not gonna lie. Great model, don’t get me wrong. But not really a reveal. More of a confirmation. Edited April 18, 2020 by ArchaicArc

More of a confirmation. Because a fair amount of members in here have hyped up their expectations for these reveals to unrealistic levels. All of this was supposed to be shown at one show over one weekend. Getting to see a new unit, three new heroes (of which two are monsters), a limited edition starter box and a rules tease is a pretty great amount of stuff for one weekend.
Khaedhras
They have mentioned that she has an in-game ability that makes the enemy units take the battleshock tests of your units for you
Maturin
Remove the stupid hat, the stupid extremities of the belt and you've got yourself a beautiful Lady of The Lake or Bretonian enchantress ^^ Edited April 18, 2020 by Maturin
LuminethMage
I think it’s more like this confirms that that’s that fro the range, why some people might be sad. Edited April 18, 2020 by LuminethMage

Yuviel Lightbringer
Whilst I won't be disappointed with this range they do keep mentioning there being more to see but if that's just in terms of adepticon reveals or just the lumineth I'm not sure.
LuminethMage
This really sounded like that’s it for now. Makes sense they showed the stater set, and everything we have seen so far.
NorthernNurgling
It looks like this might be everything after all. The interviewer did ask if there was any more to the range and the other guy dodged the question and said "I think people just want them to be out now." So unless he's making a Casino-Royale-sized bluff or we've now seen the entire Lumineth range, whatever you think of it. Also, a few of those Rumour Engines we were hanging our hopes on look to have been the DoK Warcry band, or did I miss one? When I heard the question and the dodge, it will be an enourmous surprise if there are more units. As always, a small hope for more units or heroes remains, but not much anymore.
NorthernNurgling
This is not a whine, disclaimer! Assuming that what we have seen comprises the entire faction, that means your general has to be a named character, or one of the two mages. This is going to limit their artefacts, command traits etc. Also, if they have mentioned 4 sub-cultures but we only have access to the Alarith Mountain people, will the battletome be able to have sub-allegiances? It seems pedantic to have a range of armies who all use the same named heroes and who all hail from the Mountain clan. Now, this might mean that the Lumineth battletome will be a break from the pattern we've seen in AoS 2.0 or it might mean that they are keeping back a few more kits to compensate for the extra-long unexcepted wait. Which one is more likely, or is there a third possibility?
LuminethMage
If they not specifically confirm there is more, we have to assume that’s it. Also the last sentence on the Community article reads: “... Let us know what you think of this, and the rest of the forthcoming Lumineth, on the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook page.” If that’s it, I’m really surprised about the marketing. That’s really anti-climatic. Nothing, not even a vid or anything. Just attached to a new Warcry warband. One relatively normal model. Although I think it’s beautiful, that’ll be disappointing for many people.
elfhead
If this is the complete range I would really appreciate it if they just plain tell us. I’m fine if it is. We’ll probably see the other subcultures and Tyrion in the future, just like new stormcast chambers. I’ve got lots of models lying around before I can justify buying into Lumineth so I can wait.
Yuviel Lightbringer
The fact it was a sideshow to the warcry reveal means to me there may yet be more to come, let's see if we are shown anything else today.

Tonhel
I do hope there is more. Even if it is not in units, we certainly need a couple more characters to have some variaty in our generals..
