Anybody know who did this artwork? I really hope they do a print version, I really want one framed! This release just keeps giving. Incredibly excited for the book and full release.

I also know it’s a silly  question but any chances Ushoran comes with some slightly different option, like a change in the left hand or a Head with a different expression's like be’lakor or Angron. Not criticism  in any way, I like the build from the shown photos. Just curious if more of these slightly convertible character kits are becoming more mainstay.

Plastic Kroak, Plastic Angron, Monstrous Plastic Ushoran, And each of the Primarchs receiving 2 Heresy Kits - We’re truly living in the Golden Era of Warhammer. I’m surprised this wasn’t reinforced more during the Warhammer celebration a couple months back. GW has really met some milestones which deserve to be gloated and celebrated. I think they undersell themselves sometimes especially when it comes to establishing Scifi fantasy lore and then bringing those Characters to miniature form.

My nerves and my wallet tingle in anticipation at what they do with Morghur, Malerion and the Chaos Dwarfs. But this Ghoulish release has me distracted for quite some time .

Fanboy Rant #2 Over.

Could be Thomas Elliott.

Technically possibly but highly unlikely, as that's the sort of thing that would usually be highlighted as part of the reveal.

I'd prefer year long GHB seasons with both narrative campaign and matched play rules in different sections of the same book, or separate books released together.

I couldn't agree more.  Either in the GHB or separate (make it a Chronicler's Tome) would be fantastic.  I think a lot of the time, "Narrative Play" just means warhammer with bookkeeping afterward.  But I'd love to see a whole series of battleplans like the six in the Narrative section of the Core Rulebook.  One plan had you trying to thwart (or complete) a ritual.  One tried to get one army to run off the board before the other killed it.  There were a few about defending or assaulting a strongpoint.

Some battleplans that are more than just standing on evenly spaced objectives would be very welcome.

I love this artwork too. It's incredible. Stormcasts are 2.5m tall gigachads in heavy magical armour, who can win a fight against any mortal and even against creatures like daemons and undead. And Ushoran justs tosses them around like ragdolls.

I'd like narrative games to be more in the stye of the end times books, or old forgeworld campaigns.  Like there's a canon story, and the book tells that story along with the battles and what characters and units were involved, and then there's scenarios to recreate those battles yourself, along with ideas for changing the scenarios up if you want to stray from the canon by changing the factions involved or the like.  Dawnbringers, at least after the first book, have been a bit closer to this in that there's at least been a canon narrative instead of just an open ended 'tell your own story' set up with no follow through, so I'm looking foward to seeing whether this sort of direction continues in 4e.  I think the stories and battles could be a bit more detailed, but mostly the main change I want now is for the GHB matched play season and the narrative campaign stuff to be linked - ie with the same setting and story focus, instead of completely isolated from one another.  Like, what's actually going on in Andtor?  Does anyone care?  Will there be any sort of fallout from that that matters to the wider setting?  Nah, cus that's matched play, which in 3e seems to mean its divorced from the game narrative and just doesn't matter.

This might not be a popular opinion, but I mostly anticipate a dedicated Daemons of Great Horned Rat range. Like, yeah, having bespoke greater daemons is a milestone, but GHR is a part of The Pantheon™ since the destruction of the World-that-Was, and having those daemons preceded the ascension.

Come on, do something, erm, fracture yourself into new entities.

So when can we expect another preview? With Christmas and New Year I don't see any shows in December, as well as January. Asking in context of the rumor saying we get TOW in February and there are still minis to be revealed before launch.

What are peoples opinions on GW preview schedule?

Not a big fan of their current schedule. I'd personally like to see a scheduled "Warhammer preview show" streaming simultaneously on Twitch/YouTube on the last weekend of each month at 3pm GMT, with a full "show" covering each of their 4 main settings. 40k, AoS, HH, ToW. (With "specialist games" being covered within their settings dedicated slot

Not a big fan of preview shows being tied to random events and being aired at ridiculous times for people depending on their location. I think a regular "WARHAMMER PREVIEW SHOW" on a monthly basis would allow them to build a much larger and regular audience.

I like how the guy about to deliver what would normally be a seriously overkilling downward blow is probably thinking something like "boy I hope this gets through his... cloak?" And it probably won't.

There will be a January preview, there always is, it's called LVO iirc. Besides that they like to do a sneaky model review or two on Christmas and/or New Years.

It‘s an interesting idea… frankly I don‘t habe a clue what skaven players would wish for outside of getting old or similar units (re)done with better sculpts but it sounds interesting. Ratty daemons could be cool and quite scary-looking if done right. I just think Skaven needs soo, sooo, soooo much of their range redone that such drastic reinventions aren‘t too likely. They might even love these nee daemons but would be unhappy because some other ancient sculpt didn‘t get redone…. although I‘d have no problem with Skaven getting the biggest wave of all time! 😙

I also think it's Thomas Elliott. What a disappointment that he's gone, along with Phill Moss and especially Paul Dainton (terrible loss for GW).

Same opinion. The lost of Elliott and Moss was terrible. The lost of Dainton was simply tragic. In my opinion the best of the best in gw.

we'll see what he will do for C'mon

About old sculps being modernized, I think Necrons are a good example of what is going to happen to Skavens. They got new stuff, and some of their finecast heroes modernized, but some others just vanished from the codex with the recently launched one.

This makes me think what are skaven daemons? Perhaps they can update old sculpts AND add daemons at the same time by making them giant rats/wolf rats. What's more Representative of a shard of the horned rat than just more rats? But then that kind of steps on moulder so my next thought is either smaller rat versions of necropolis stalkers (rat kings) or feral looking starved skaven like skin wolves but with much more visible ribs and rat features like skaven gorgers (Representative of the the great horned rat as famine and the all consuming tide).

So what kind of rumors are left? We've got OBR hero and FEC for Dawnbringers 4, potential Lady of Ruin for Dawnbringers 5, Skaven v. Stormcast for 4e. What other rumors are floating about?

Kurnothi, Dark Oath, DoK character that is anti-morathi, something happening with Khul.

God I hope not on darkoath. Shirtless barbarian hordes of savages who kind of worship chaos but not fully is both well covered by warcry bands and really leaves Beasts with no identity  as far as GW is concerned. I get some people like the Norscan theme (me included) but I'd really like to see the ancient beastmen line get some love before further fleshing out a sub faction of STD.

Morai-Heg for DoK. Ascended Korghos-Khul. New armour for the 1st ed Stormcast. Lumineth vs OBR on Warcry, Callis and Toll supossedly coming... and I think that's all from the top of my head.
