I'm ngl I don't think many people have bought them since they're £35 each, and I don't know anyone that plays crusade. There were significant lore developments in both though I heard. I think they're written to be faction agnostic for the rules portion but it definitely feels to me like they're intended to be played with imperium vs tyranids or imperium/admech vs necrons but idk the actual campaign rules in them

there was one with the launch book and then another with the first 2 codexes at the end of the year I think

Outside of the discount, local stores always just have a nicer atmosphere imo, official GW store staff feel very overbearing at times. For some reason the local GW store for me stopped hosting gaming and painting sessions for non beginners which sucks. Also as a mtg player it's nice to have one store/community to deal with for everything, I imagine it's the same for people who play other games too.

I think it'd be cool to see a grot faction that interacts with cities more, aside from just stealing their glass bottles like GSG. Kinda like star wars jawas where they pick up battlefield debris and sell it back to humans.

I'm decidedly not a fan of the emperor's new backstory in the heresy with there being multiple perpetuals as people from Earth's history. Another recent thing was the shift in timeline of events, where they initially in 8th kinda brushed over the indomitus crusade but then jumped back and put the plague wars further into the future.

It would've been worse if they made it into a big performance of "look how progressive we are", as a retcon, warhammer lore gets and has gotten retconned constantly, it's definitely a much bigger deal than people are making it out to be. Even if you do care, they're your toy soldiers just don't have them be women who cares.

Even if it was some kind of quota they were trying to fill, you'd see it in a new custodian guard kit or something, not a random lore excerpt.

No way that people have stirred up enough of a fuss to cause the CFO to sell stock. If these GW corpos are even aware that the greasy internet content creators at the forefront of the controversy exist, I'd be surprised. I'd guess it's just stock trading stuff and we'll be none the wiser as to why they did this. Random shot in the dark maybe the amazon deal went sour or more problems with the new factory?

I expect if it happens it'll be like SBGL or LRL, a clear replacement of the old stuff but with new ideas. Maybe we see stuff like the snarlfang riders but multiple grots on a bear, or a giant wolf avatar like fenrir from norse mythology. I think it'd be cool to see a frazzlegitz/gitmob/hobgrot khaganate faction with some kinda aos twist.

if you're talking about the harbingers as a sign for a gitz release, then fyreslayers should also be getting a release wave. Do we think nurgle's getting a release wave too? New plaguebearers and drones, maybe pestigors too

yeah I also got my killaboss pretty fast, I'm guessing they already had a selection of stock and any orders exceeding that will go to be printed and shipped later
