  1. Renegades & Heretics seems like a great candidate for Agents of the Imperium treatment. (Incorporating into a pre-existing faction, then -- optionally -- indexing, then codexing.)
  2. Vashtorr included? Or, is it too early for the godhood or any new Soul-Forge representation? ^^'
  3. AFAIK, the Ancient was listed in the massive 40k leak from Bolter and Chainsword of August-ish 2021 (the same one with unreleased CSM Bikers). Valrak has been rather spot-on but his info is not always consistent (e.g. he had been stating for a non-negligible time that one of the forthcoming CSM Lords would be Terminator-clad, and introduced uncertainty on the armour type later on; similarly, Brood Brothers Kill Team was meant to be Kasrkin-based).
  4. Indeed, but there is almost always uncertainty. And there are better word choices for such circumstances.
  5. Why should that be even relevant? Besides, there is a whole spectrum of physical features in humans, and I'm glad GW utilises the differences by introducing more realistic and less stereotypical forms. Don't present your speculation about the design process as an "unquestionable fact" if you have no insight or intel about the process. Oh, and sure, you know the conceiver is a "he".
  6. Hopefully, they're reserving it for Morghur's faction, plausibly as the Utmost Mutation™ tier. An in-between aesthetic gradient in other factions would be welcome, although I appreciate the somewhat more hopeful aspect of treading the Path to Glory.
  7. Or, one of them ascends and subsequently gets unmade by Abraxia with a steel chair, erm, mutating spear. After all, she hunts Daemon Princes.
  8. New miniatures aside, this is the most intriguing part to me: Archaon--GHR "contract" renegotiation.
  9. The Dawnbringers went too far and built a city on a Necron Tomb World.
  10. On the Abraxia introduction, she will probably come in a set with Varanguards, Ionus-style. (Educated wishlisting as I'm still waiting, what, 8 years for the cavalry being included in a discount box xD)
  11. I don't expect Khul before the drop of E4 if he needs to "kill" Vandus for the ascension. This will probably happen in a Dawnbringers 6 climax, so a spoiler level higher than "Saviours of Cinderfall". And then, Blades of Khorne might be one of the first battletomes after the launch-box factions.
  12. Major design changes do not always occur (I welcome them, as Tzeentch approves). Same happened in the E9-to-E10 transition in 40k:
  13. It was a dedicated one due to spreading the previews over several days. 40k E10 Celebration-style Preview stream was an irregular one -- this was split between the Battle for Oghram results (Tyranids there) and NOVA Open. Mind that Dominion Celebration was a follow-up to the multiday Fest 2021 which announced AoS E3 (there was no Adepticon teaser) with a different approach to faction focus and content reveal. At least compared with Leviathan.
  14. I forecast there will be an online Fest-style preview, like in 2020--2022 (IIRC). Adepticon seems quite packed with the number of games-settings sporting some content, and GW likes to stretch the hype. Thus, I don't expect a different treatment than 40k E10 preview at the event (full cinematic trailer, a non-character model per faction, discussion about forthcoming changes).
  15. This happened at Warhammer Fest, so yes, it had one.
  16. It is linked to both factions, as Great Horned Rat is the Chaos God of Ruin. FWIW, I'm in favour.
  17. …which will break apart shortly due to the dispute about rights to claim her soul.
  18. SK is on the scarcely used 90mm round base, while Norn variants are on 100mm ones like most Greater Daemons. If a new Verminlord is introduced, the miniature's size might be similar to the current ones (notably, on 120x92mm ovals, but that's irrelevant), hence my comparison. I second Garrac's "mid-to-big" opinion on SK.
  19. Indeed, and it might turn out this way. Personally, I prefer a daemon_irregular situation, both in terms of size and ranking. Like Dexcessa and Synessa being smaller than Keepers of Secrets (yet special cases).
  20. "The horned-rat demon thing", going by Screamer-Killer vs. Norn Emissary, might not be released in the launch box but introduced separately (like, all head honchos of 40k E8--E10 non-SM factions).
  21. More like an Ossiarch familiar-construct. The skull rather belongs to a regular-sized Plaguebearer (we see the base rim below, and bases sport height of 3--4 mm). Morghasts are huge.
  22. Reintroduction of Diggas -- in AoS instead of 40k -- would be hilarious.
  23. On the 40k side, there are still the 2 rumoured CSM HQs to be revealed before the mentioned summer factions. Announcing just one of the latter is a safer prediction, and Imperial Agents are seemingly a bigger deal, more like a Warhammer Fest Online one.
  24. I'm all for Silent People miniatures but still want proper range for Fimir. A post-Chaos-aligned Destruction faction has some unique narrative potential.
  25. Slaaneshi realm-specific cultists would complete* the Old Four treatment, but I genuinely await more wacky ones, like human cultists of the Great Horned Rat (who doesn't care about them, but they still bring ruination in its name). * Not for me. I want a smorgasbord of Chaos cults (multiple, more than the approaches so far!) from each and every realm.
