Anyone here thinks it is kinda odd they release the O&Gs next week and we still have Bret and TK stuff that has been announced, but not released yet? Any thoughts on why this is so and when can we expect those models (if ever)?

Guys do you think we might get some previews for next week's Pre-Orders tomorrow on the WarCom article? Also, do you think we would get the second wave of made to order or the rest of the models lines for both factions?

Thanks man! I got delivered a TK army box instead of my Bret army box in my game store by GW error and I still can't get my hands on that shiny new Bret Duke.. I'm starting to panic now as I don't have an option of any kind so I am hoping on that restock sooner rather than later.

Ok people time for something else - who do we think Sir Cecil Gastonne, the Wyrm Slayer is? Do we think he'll just be a named Peg Lord Character, a named classic miniature model brought back or can we dare hope for an entirely new mini?

So when do we think GW will release the rest of the Bretonnian line of models? Both the new models (Lady Elisse and the Knights on Foot) as well as the older sculpts such as the Trebuchet, Questing Knights, Hippogryph Lord and Green Knight?

I thought something akin the Asrai Wardancers as well.

So are we thinking we are going to get some of the other reveals today? The Sons of the Lion reveal was kinda early in the day and now they are weirdly quiet..

Would be sour if that turns out to be true.. However, I still think they will hold up to the concept of a plastic multipart kit centerpiece covering multiple character options, a plastic unit and a few resin single models to round up and refresh each TOW faction going forward.

Correct, but they did reveal most of the Bret line via designated previews, so I would presume they won't just reveal the TKs in a warcom article. They intend on building the hype and dragging the reveals to the maximum stretching point so I think they will actually use a preview slot for these. Just to be clear, not that I would mind if we get a warcom article with the reveals.

I am thinking if the release is indeed at the beginning of February isn't it a bit late to reveal the minis at the LVO and expect to generate hype in just a week or so? Never understood why GKs had 1 wound only as they are far more resilient than the average Joe. Nevertheless the 3+ AS makes no sense at all, both fluffwise and rulewise. The rest of their profile seems cool and interesting, but sadly they would get Last Samurai-ed most of the time before making contact imho.

That is correct, but they specifically said the launch range. Maybe we get something close after launch? Doesn't that seem possible? I still can't digest the fact that they are intending on rereleasing Bretonnia without the Grail Knights, the King and the Green Knight. And the whole Army Book having only one named character - it being the Prophetess out of all. Seems strange to me if I am being perfectly honest.

Back to another topic guys - do you think the mention of the Grail Knights as the focus of next week's Old World rules article would lead to a new model reveal as part of the Monday model reveals they got going or am I just reading too much into this?

Wings for the Hippogryph riding Bretonnian King?

So when can we expect another preview? With Christmas and New Year I don't see any shows in December, as well as January. Asking in context of the rumor saying we get TOW in February and there are still minis to be revealed before launch. What are peoples opinions on GW preview schedule?

So are these heroes the generic Bretonnian Duke on Pegasus and the rumored Tomb King on a Chariot, or are these potentially some named characters for both factions respectively? Did he say anything more specific regarding this point? I still find it pretty weird to not include a major named character as a leader of the faction getting a release (in this case Bretonnia and Khemri)..

Well if they go with this format and they actually release Settra we can expect a Wizard named character for the TKs as well. Similar to the Louen/Elisse combo for the Brets. Same can be said for O&G, Empire and the other factions getting a ToW update later on. I think it is an awesome format that would give a lot of options, while still staying "in-company-budget" in regards to GW and their investment in The Old World project.

Hello there Old World enthusiasts! What have been your thoughts on the latest rumors doing the rounds? I think the second part actually makes sense as GW hasn't shown anything about the Bretonnian King yet and he was pretty well represented in the marketing for ToW. Additionally, it would be weird to have a single named character in the Bretonnian armybook - it being the Prophetess Elisse they revealed already, instead of the King or the Green Knight. Also it would be a cool format to have a single heavily customizable plastic character model for every army getting a ToW update going forward. The other two points are open to discussion, even though one might assume that some form of a Narrative Book is coming later down the line one way or another as pointed out by the rumormonger.

I posted the question in the other forum too. Beside the Pilgrims other iconic models such as the King, the Green Knight, Questing and Grail knights are also missing. Don't know if they would get rereleased as metal/FF resin (which would totally suck for these legendary pieces to get represented by such outdated models) or would maybe get a post launch treatment as people say the Horus Heresy launch forces got. If I remember correctly a new model for the Green Knight was heavily hinted by GW on a comment on some of the past TOW posts on Facebook, but there aren't any signs of him showing up now.
