  1. You think they’re due for an update or they just gonna stay bad for a long time?
  2. Yeah I read that "up to" as "If the roll is equal to or greater than 11 add 1 to the attacks characteristic..." but I guess up to means 1 to 11?
  3. How viable are Slaves to Darkness units with Khorne? I've always wanted to run fur cloaked classic chaos warriors, chaos knights, just like...classic regular chaos, but khorne. Would you rather go STD Allegiance, or Khorne? If I go STD can I still use like Slaughterpriest prayers on them? Or does the Bloodsecrator work? How well do they plug and play/mix and match? Trying to figure out how to get the best...classic chaos Khorne...formula with Chaos Warriors, Chaos Knights and Chaos Lords or whatever.
  4. Well if your Megaboss on Maw-Krusha dies he can't use the ability. Also I thought you had to roll 1d6 and add the amount of Ironjawz Units wholly within 24/18'' and the total has to come to 11 to get +1 attack, or 12+ for +2 attacks? Also the General must be a Megaboss, so if my Maw-Krusha boss is the general then only he can waaagh so the footboss cannot. oops.
  5. Was it a design oversight to just not have the Darkoath stuff and the Warcry stuff not interact with the rest of the army? Also are Chaos Trolls and Giants a thing anymore or is that just Total War: Warhammer? Seems like the beasts got mostly moved to beasts of chaos, the stand-alone manticores, and dragons (?) etc, and I'm not sure what happened to Trolls and Giants. Exalted Heroes also seem to be still resin, and I'm not sure if they've been catered to....same with Dragon Ogres if they're even still around? For the most part I would do lines of chosen to hold, chaos knights and gorebeast chariots to flank with hellcannons for support and 1 sorcerer and my main hero (Archaon) but a lot of this stuff seems to be gone. I was hoping the bread and butter chaos warriors and knights was at least a thing though. I wonder what they plan on doing with chaos....so much still seems to be Resin and I'm worried it might get discontinued/deleted from the game
  6. I'm not going to lie, my introduction to the Warhammer Fantasy universe was through Blood Bowl, as well as Warhammer Total War I and 2, so to me I've always loved the classic Chaos army. In Blood Bowl the classic chaos team is a bunch of Gors and Chaos Warriors with an optional Minotaur, which I love. In Total War Warhammer I loved using Chosen/Warriors and Knights with the old anvil and hammer just throw lines of Warriors/Chosen up to hold the line then smash into them with knights over and over (I also liked the Dragons tbh, but I don't think those exist in AOS) so a classic just knights and warriors/chosen army would be awesome for me, run as Khorne because Khorne is the best. I'm sad to see that Warriors aren't good (still). How are Chosen? How are the Lords on Manticore faring? The Ogroid Myrmidon seems awesome, and I just love the aesthetic of the classic Norscans with fur and trim and just being savage vikings, and chaos warriors. Total War: Warhammer II really sells that aesthetic and fantasy. Is such an army viable in AOS? Darkoath Chieftan, Darkoath Warqueen, Godsworn Hunt, Daemon Princes, etc.. I just love classic Chaos and I guess Chaos Undivided/Khorne
  7. You know I've been thinking... I do love the footboss model, a lot. Also when my Megaboss on Maw-Krusha dies (it always dies) sometimes I haven't Waaaghed because some of my units sometimes aren't in range to count it up and actually make it work. Perhaps a Footboss for a backup Waaagh just in case could be warranted?
  8. Yeah, my thing is I like Khorne, but I don't find that Khorne plays like Khorne. Khorne has a weird turtle up and every body move together playstyle on the table, but I prefer a more aggressive turn 1 or 2 charge and just get stuck in and get to fighting. You really have to move actual Blades of Khorne weirdly to get wholly within all the auras which feels restrictive. I guess I'd prefer Slaves just marked as Khorne. Still Khornate, but seems to be more aggressive. That's why I've just been playing Ironjawz lately.
  9. As per the above any means one or more. Any = If one or more If one or more wounds or mortal wounds have been inflicted on that phone on an Ironjawz unit that is more than 9 inches from one or more enemy units. The moment an Ironjawz unit comes within 9'' suddenly they can't make the 1D6'' dice roll move.
  10. Why would they lose the Mark of Khorne being in a Khorne army? Also thank you for the detailed right up this is so exciting.
  11. How are Chaos Knights and Chaos Warriors now? Used to keep wanting to use them for Khorne and people kept saying they were bad for one reason or another, but have they gotten any better these days? They still work with my Blades of Khorne book right and can count as Khorne and be part of a Khorne army supported by Khorne heroes...right? Love me some classic chaos warriors and knights. Been wanting to run them... Been told they're worse than Blood Warriors, etc.. too
  12. Hopefully they do one for da bloodtoofz too some day!
  13. This is extremely exciting to read. The whole destruction faction is feeling the raw power of the Waaagh and is being swept away but its current of war.
  14. I would be interested in hearing more about this. Where can I read about this?
  15. I don't know much about Tzeentch except he is the lord of change, schemes, magic and fate, but is the Ogroid Thaumaturge any good? It's a super sweet model TBH. I got it in the Silver Tower game.
  16. Interesting...I thought Orruk Warclans was pretty strong, but the highest place is 23rd and the rest are near the bottom and I can only spot 3. Thought it was stronger and more popular.
  17. Maybe I ought to consider Ironsunz then and going with the slow advance, but I do want to keep playing Ironjawz as Ironjawz over a big waaagh. That's the first way I played it vs Idoneth, so maybe against them play it aggressive to kill them before turn 3, but against others take it slow and adjust my tactics based on my enemies army?
  18. I've been playing with 6 GGs and a MK and slinging them out front and I've had trouble figuring out how the army is supposed to work now TBH. The GGs and MK are way faster than any of the other heroes, brutes or ArdBoyz and I only have so many CP I can't just MD everything up the board so it splits my army in half. Trying to figure out when/how to Mighty Waaaagh! and the rest. Always feel like my Warchanters get left behind and I've yet to use any beats tbh.
  19. It would be more trouble than it’s worth. I own the blood bowl team. They’re mono pose with 2 repeating poses per lineman. It’s also just a totally different aesthetic. it could be done I’m sure... but it would be a ton of effort to the end result to mostly be just “why?”
  20. I had been debating for a very long time what color scheme I wanted and I finally settled on the Bloodtoofz/Evil Suns/Gouged Eye scheme of just red armor and so forth. I have 2 MBMK and 1 is assembled and 1 is not. I think the ones I built I may not paint but I want to sub assemble paint the other one. He will have red armor clearly with yellow highlights. what color would look good on his Maw-Krusha? White? Blue? Black? Red? red on red feels too much. White, Green and Red are complimentary. Blue might clash. Black is kind of basic. Could do a purple MK? Idk any suggestions?
  21. Emphasis mine.... I bet Gordrakk could KRUMP Archaeon and take the eight points. I am an Ironjawz fan boy though.
