  1. I completely agree, you'd just have to find the greater evil. At the moment there isn't one that could cause Duardin and Orruks to unite, but in the past Sigmar and Gorkamorka did, so it proves that it's possible. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' until such time as we don't share an enemy any more!

  3. What if the theme is an uneasy alliance, based on the need for both to exploit a Realmgate, without the cost of destroying each other? An uneasy alliance based on necessity, based on being able to conduct a war on many fronts without being weakened and without unwittingly making Chaos' job easier?
  4. These are fantastic. Never have the good guys looked so bad! Reckon the Aquilor has definitely had a reforging too many...
  5. Agreed. I think they'd have to do quite a few different cities with good background lore and distinct abilities to make them work, something along the lines of the different Overlord Skyports. I could see it being a cool hobby project for someone deeper into the lore that I, but just struck me as a way a mixed allegiance could work, assuming that they port from P2G to GHB 2017, which is by no means a sure thing.
  6. We know that at least 18 factions are getting Allegiance abilities in GHB 2017, so it's not a long shot to say that these are good bets to pick up new rules. Likely to be more than are mentioned here, as there are obviously some factions that have new abilities already (Khorne, Overlords, etc.). Destruction, Order and Death catch-alls could be interesting. Possibly different city allegiances, like Hammerhall for example, with unique abilities and possibly paint schemes?
  7. The Starpriest is listed in the Skirmish supplement at 16 renown, so has been adjusted by GW based on abilities, forthcoming points, or whatever reason that various units have slightly different renown values. The other has been worked out with the basic formula with no adjustment.
  8. Iron Jawz SC box is a £37.83 saving, so fairly close to the £40.00 mark: 1 Warchanter £18.50 10 Ardboys £21.33 (adjusted from 15) 3 Gore Gruntas £48.00 I don't think that means that we'll see the Magmadroth in the box though, it just seems too expensive a model and it would mean that GW would effectively be cutting the price of a £65.00 kit as literally no one would buy it. At present the most expensive kits in the SC boxes are the Montarch and the Gore Gruntaz, both come in at £48.00, so under £50.00. They represent a a really good saving, but are not below RRP for a single kit, although this may herald a price cut for Fyre Slayers...
  9. Great stuff. Lines looking really sharp on the paintwork and the colour scheme is excellent. Looking forward to a group shot! Also, if you lose your job from being to tired, then you'll have more time to paint at home, so it's win-win.
  10. Wow, great collection and I particularly like the Celebrities of the Empire Militia, which is hilarious.
  11. I remember hearing about the Khorne sect who wear light coloured armor and paint it red during battle with the blood of their enemies (probably their own, their friends, and any other blood that happens to be lying about as well) and thought it sounded very cool. These certainly put me in mind of that idea and either way the white armor looks awesome. Great work!
  12. I'd echo all of the above, think the frigate is looking great, a real standout.
  13. Really nice stuff and love those coppery beards, really makes them standout and remind you who their forebears were.
  14. Really nice work here, love the skin tone on Drycha and the otherworldly effect it creates.
  15. I'm no expert, but these two theories chimed with me. The sculpt looks very unlike the new hugely detailed minis that have come out of late, unless it is indeed really small. I also think it's really unlikely that GW would tease another huge new faction release, and it surely would be, without having actually released the last one. That said, come on Shadow Elves!
  16. Really nice job on these. Great colour scheme, with the shields standing out in particular to me in pulling the whole thing together. Also, the pictures with the bushes in the background are great!
