    Hi guys, will be playing a 2000p game of aos against a good old buddy of mine. Since he insisted of playing very competitive wise, well I choose to take some of our most feared units with me. heres my list: ps: stormfiends are equipped with shock gauntlets (1unit) an warpfire throwers.

    Well just like Michu said, the Sc (start collecting) Pestilens isn’t a bad idea. It’ll give ya an option for a screaming bell and a warplightning cannon instead of the pestilens stuff if your after such kind of things. aslo looking on eBay for some good old spite of dawn sets, (or blood island kits) might not be a bad thing, if your lucky you might even get them very cheap. (should it cost more in total, I’d just go with building your own weapon teams out of clanrats, and buying a ton of meatshields (clanrats)). Your next step could be than to buy any kind of elite unit or something monstrous. (Well or you could just stick with clanrats and play 300++of them) Ps:elite is in my eyes anything that aren’t clanrats or giant rats.

    Well I only tried it out with my skaven forces. since I lack the amount of ungors, you were describing. since clanrats are somewhat similar to ungors, i can tell you that 200++ meatshields, aren’t that bad. Loosing around 80of those ungors at the spot, will not really impress to many people. Afterall who cares for small fragile weak-things. Best part of having so many meatshields is, that your foe/friend/opponent will struggle with making decisions and finding a.good spot to let their biggest and badest units to alphastrike and charge. belive me I played around 400clanrats/giant rats ones, and well won thanks to the ability in taking very single objective on the Board. (Aslo I killed 75%of my opponents army.) never underestimate a horde of clanrats.

    No only tried the list with 200++ Clanrats out. Sadly ungors seem to cost more than a unit of clanrats (moneywise)

    Well at least we got a beautiful battletome, which owns some great lore aspects and the allegiance ability seem to be alright. (The only thing now missing is a grand skaven battletome for my over 10 000points army of rat man.) Edit: skaven showing up frequently on tournaments? Must have been the beginning of aos, because since aos 2.0dropped I haven’t seen any skaven army beeing used in any of the grand tournaments. (exception would be that 1guy who played skyre)

    Always those complaints. first we have people (including myself) complaining about stormcast etc., then there are people complaining about people who complain about their so beloved Stormcast Army. next to that we have people who complain about the complainers, complaining about whining people , complaining about stormcast. and now we have people complaining about the complainers, complaining about people who complain about the other people who complain about stormcast. I’m not sure if this endless cycle of corrupted complains can be stopped.

    Nah that’s probably a new skaven release. its as clear as daylight. Must be clan Eshin who stole another chaotified book holder

    My plan is to use a unit of Dragon ogres at 2000p. They are fantastic (rulewise) for 140p. although they won’t do as much damage as enlightenment, but will hold the line much longer. 15wounds with a 4+save at only 140p Something your foe will struggle to kill at the beginning. Also I just got them last Friday. They were sold out for a long time

    Well you could theoretically use the standard guy as a Beastlord. its such a beautiful model.

    Well at least we have some guy playing the true children of chaos on those tournaments. (he probably already knows of our cunning plan assembled by the great Horned rat himself)

    To be actually truethfull with you, I haven’t seen anybody use any kind of skaven army in the new edition on any tournis. must be those fish-things taking the spotlight

    If I’m not mistaken the artwork was also used in the chaos Daemon Codex from 7th edition
