RuneBrush
Sounded like GW had no internet connection, which is a bit of a shame
Veterannoob
Sigmar was displeased and his lightning gale kept them from broadcasting. I hope they learned their lesson.,.

You can take pictures of your own units and place them for specific units. Printable lists, too! Coming next week.
daedalus81
It is a subscription service in addition to current app - 99 pence. All points. All warscrolls.
Veillotron
I am very excited about the new app, I love the new functionalities. The fact that the points are available is such great news. To confirm, the 99 pence is on a monthly basis (which is nothing really...)

Sleboda
If it's as good as it's sounding, and stays current with rules and points, it will become my first ever paid sub app. It world be worth it just to have a definitive "this is the most recent/current/legal version of X." So much more clear.
Gauche
At that price point I will be all over this. Great decision by GW if they follow through on that, way easier than lugging around books and thumbing through them. Now if only the AoS App worked on a Kindle Fire..... Bradifer
Sounds nice an well priced, but the idea of waiting for my opponent to scroll through his little 5 inch phone trying to zoom in on rules while I'm sitting here with my folder of 6 full page warscrolls (printed PDF) is a bit annoying. I find this method much faster than looking through all the battletomes too.

I have my stuff memorized mostly so this will be great for organization and list building.
chord
I wish they would make an app for laptops. I really would prefer to use this with my laptop than on a small screen.

It has a better interface, interacts with Windows better, and is actually free. BlueStacks has a free player but constantly has pop-ups asking you to either upgrade to premium for $4.99 a month or continuously be forced to download Apps you don't want to keep using it. I installed BlueStacks specifically to use the AoS app and deleted it after one day. Nox has better resolution in my opinion as well.

For sure - these things fully emulate android. The software can be a little taxing on low end PCs though.

Especially when an opponent wants to know the specifics on a unit or ability.. I just hand them my laminated pdf printout.

I think the idea is that it's there to build army lists and you either use the books or built in app purchases to get the rules for the ability, spell, battalion etc... Im definitely signing up. sal4m4nd3r
Wait wait.. so If i give GW $1 a month they give me ALL the warscrolls and battalions?? that doesnt make sense seeing as how each batallion is $2 a piece. And i know this because I bought every battalion rotbringers had even though only 2 are valid in matched play...
