Heart of Ghur was released in early August and Into the Dark in early September. Its GW after all so its still within the 'Window' of releases. For StD it remains to see officially the chaos warriors kit and Chaos lords on foot and mounted. When the images were leaked I saw a post on reddit that listed what we could see in the pics and the list include the Exalted Hero but I don't recall seeing a fitting mini in there. OBR was this way and Kruleboyz were this way until Grimdark blew their spot up. Could even make the case Giants were a surprise to what rumors were out at that time. I think they have something hidden up their sleeve. I’m just hoping it wasn’t the upcoming S2D release. I’m fearful it is since it was scheduled to be released around the holidays. Their previous big surprise releases drop in late spring for the summer or the fall for the holidays. Ogors, Skaven and Seraphon have such old models and 2 of those Factions only got a single mini. Fyreslayers and Idoneth both need more models and again single minis. Seraphon have a better chance of getting models like Sylvaneth, slaves, and Nighthaunt did. If all of the Seraphon Rumor Engines are solved from it, then probably won't see a lot. They said they'd be tweaking them in the latest meta watch, (which sounded like nerfs). But I assumed that was going to be a warscroll update. After more than 20 years in the hobby it seems that GW still be's being GW. BOC, Seraphon and Mawtribes have most of their models between 16-20 years old. Skaven even farther back still. Kinds seems like faction terrain was a bit of an experiment that may not keep going. I'd definitely take more generic terrain though, please. Or bring some of the mia kits back.
