  1. My suggestions would be to either give draz a points reduction or actually give him a better warscroll as he is just not justifiable for taking him with these points. Also the ironsworn could use a bit of overhaul in their waracroll. I find myself almost always taking the only 10points more expensive fireglaives as they actually seem to have a threatrange compared to their cheaper axe buddies. The ironsworn seem to not have a role they might be able to fill with their current warscroll and point situation. Finally the battalions all seem kinda meh.. they are pretty expensive for the extra artifact and the almost non existent bonus they are giving you for their points. I sometimes try to come up with some lists with them but then just find better units or models for their points. Also the model "taxes" you have to take to be able to integrate them are just not worth it imo.. (i.e. the castellan or the iron deamon)
  2. So I am trying to figure out the usefulness of the Endless Spells that enhance your armies movement. As I play Choas Dwarfs I found the Boatman and the Bridge situational but useful from time to time. I haven't run the cogs yet but am thinking about using them. Now I want to know your experiences with the generic movement enhancing Endless Spells (Launchon the Soulseeker aka. The Boatman, the Soulscreaming bridge and the Chronomatic cogs, or am I forgetting some?). Which are you using or have experiences using them? Are they worth the points? In which sitatuation did you find them helpful and in which did they fail your expectations? Just keep happy chatting away Cheers

  4. Hi everybody I just got a small question concerning the basing of Endless Spells. What is the general consensus for tournaments for their basing? Are clear/transparent acryl bases allowed? Or do we need to fully paint the base? I guess it should match the army bases then? Is it allowed to paint the bases somewhat magically so that I could use them in another army? Are there some good concepts/examples out there atm for a universal basing sceme for Endless Spells? Thank you so much in advance!!
  5. I doubt that it is an oversight or miswording as they implemented abilities that do exactly the same in the monsters and mercenaries book. Some allies won't even need a quad to activate it So i think the wording is exactly how they intended it to be
  6. You actually get 2 in each graveguard box. For even more seneshals I used the bodies of the grave guard box and just bought more seneshal heads and weapons from a bitseller I think most people would be cool with some different kitbashes as Warcry's storytelling incourages different looking fighters. Just make sure they are different enough to not confuse them with the normal grave guard with greatweapon
  7. Soo which ally should we go for? I think the wight king with his power attack ability or the ghoul king with the area buff of 1 to attack characteristics for friendly fighters might be nice

Don't know if this was talked about yet, but at near the end of last weeks Warhammer Weekly Nova Wrap up Vince was talking about that GW will be coming up with news about their work with Forge World and also about future cooperation with them. Any word out there what this might be? Anything that might change? Will we see some cullings for FW models or maybe an increase of models? Interested in if someone has heard something about that subject

  11. sooo what kind of basic skeleton do you guys prefere? The ones with the spear or the ones with the blade? Blade has more attacks but lesser reach and only 3 crit. Spear has one less attack but 2'' reach and also the 4 crit damage. Just curious about your opinion and experience :)

  14. So we have the warscrolls to use the warbands and monsters in AoS, but do we have the points for using them in matched play yet? Thanks in advance!
  15. Any word or hint out there that they will update the base size chart as well?
  16. So what do we think about the new endless spells out of Forbidden Power? I think the boat and the bridge might help us out with our low movement problems. Also the shards combined with shackles might be some kind of obstacle to slow our opponents down. Any more ideas or opinions?
  17. Luckily I got 4 back when they were still available from FW's website. Two built and painted and the other two are still untouched in their bag. The skullcracker is about the same size as the ID. You can always go and maybe attach two big pendulum endless spells coming down the front to make it look like a skullcracker Wow thanks for sharing. I really dig your converted magmacannons and skullcracker

Glad to hear that you were satisfied and congrats on your wins Were there only the two of you who ran LoA or were there more players at the convention? Can you share some picutres of your army? I am always interested in getting more inspiration of painting schemes for these little chaos dwarfs Do you think the magma cannons are worth it though? I think they are kinda swingy in damage and almost every time I find myself thinking about taking more fireglaives for more consistency. Or do you think the bigger threat range of the cannons and the "psycological" threat they offer is the kicker? I'm excited to hear your opinion(s)

  20. Thanks for your feedback :) Cool to hear that there are some LoA players at Adepticon :) Are there more or is it just the two of you? How are your games going so far with your list? Would you change something? How convinced are you in taking so many war machines? Man but that army must look soo nice on the board :) Death train incoming! 😈
  21. Been toying around with a new list. Going all in on the Fireglaives this time as they are just awesome and shooting being so very helpful against FWC and Skaven. Added Draz for the Battleshock phase and his wound bounce back is also nice. The K'ddai for mobility and the chaos sorcerer lord to buff him or a unit of the Fireglaives. The only thing I am not sure about is if I should split up the Units of the Fireglaives a bit more (maybe 30/20/20/20 or 30/30/10/10/10)? What do you think? Anything to add that might be helpful for this list?   22. Also one more thing that I am still not sure about: Can you use a unit of ironsworn/fireglaives WITHOUT a leader/deathmask or is the warscroll written that way that you must take one in the unit? I can't figure it out on my own and the facebook team isn't helping atm
