  1. So my friends I have put together the ultimate Gotrek package for your games. You want ofc Gotrek then a friend a simple Jade Battlemage to heal and give him another 6 fnp. Then the Archmages spell gives you another 6 fnp to all your guys with in 18" Then a cool ride for these guys a Luminarch of Hysh giving another 6 fnp aura to people around him. At this point your Gotrek has a 4+ save a 3+ fnp a 6+ fnp a 6+ fnp and a 6+ fnp. Add a good ammount i recommend 60 Crossbow men and shoot the walls infront of him and kill everything.
  2. 3. Why cant you have both? It would still be worse than the top lists?
  4. Everyone I know just seems to hate the competitive Gitz list as it has 0 randomness and only plays reliable units. I want to see more randomness on the tables
  5. I knew exactly what I was doing I had 2,5k of Moonclan before the new book even came... I dont understand why people defend GW when they clearly cant write balanced stuff. A lot of Gitz players I know are getting burned out becouse if you want to win you have to play extremely boring lists of Magic and Stabbas. Im not asking for Gitz to be the best army. God my proposed change would never do that it would just make it that more units saw the light of day on a tournament table.
  6. The randomness is a part of the game but it should not remove entire armies from competitive gaming. Its not just about a higher avarage its about keeping the highs and lows closer together and making stuff more consistent while keeping an element of randomness. Did you read my post?
  7. Well we have a lot of dice rolls already Im suggesting just changing ones that are mostly a solid number to start with. Im not taking away charge, run, hit, wound, save, after save... rolls just lessening the impact of massive randomness on warscrolls that make the units very bad.
  8. So as a Gloomspite player I have dealt a lot with the randomness of d6 rolls and have seen how they work in the game. Now let's be honest here randomness is fun but its also bad Gitz is not really a competitive army and when It's played competitively really none or few of the models with a lot of randomness are considered. So my proposition to this problem would be changing Attack, Damage and Move rolls of d6 to X+D3 For example a Dankhold Troggboss who gets all attacks trough the enemy armor would can deal 4-24 damage thats an absolutely massive amount of variation in damage and you cant really rely on him to do anything. If we change that to 2+d3 his range would be 12-20 here we still have randomness but we also have a minimum damage output thats right for a 270 point model a Vermin Lord Corruptor deals 14 damage if all go trough with only his melee he still has a lot more ways to deal damage and is only 10 points more. A second example is something like the Boingrot Bounderz move 2d6 so you can move 2-12" no one in a competitive scene would play this because movement is so important in the current state of the game if you changed it to 2x2+d3 again we would have a range of 6-10 again we have randomness but we still keep some level expectation for their performance. I think some rolls like running and charging are just fine as d6 rolls but I personally think randomness on warscrolls could be reduced to make the game healthier.
  9. It feels good when you get it and bad when your opponent gets it. When someone always feels bad its kind of a sucky thing.
  10. I would guess 90% of people play on 6x4 neoprene mats. Thats what every game store except GW I have been to uses. 3x4 is the perfect size
  11. Now while they arent exactly Troggoths or even playable in the Gitz allegiance I do think Fimir fit the aesthetic of a swampy Troggoth army very well. So I got warriors and a Noble so I could play them in Meeting Engagement games and I think they turned out great. The Fimirach Noble is a lovely model I love the cape and the pose he has going on! I am also happy that the water effects on his base came out pretty nice and smooth a few of the warrior bases werent that great. Here are the warriors they look so nice in a unit I kinda want more of them giving them the super high reeds coming from the water makes them look like they are lurking in the swamps I think the hunched poses add to that feel as well. I really wanted them to have a grimy look so I added some dried mud looking weathering to their robes and over all I'm very happy with the robes. I also tried Vallejo Metal color jet exhaust on the dark metal parts and I'm in love. Definitely some of the best metal paint out there.
  12. Here is some stuff I finished last week! A Fimirach Noble and a unit of Fimir warriors! Now I think we all know they arent too great in game but they do look damn cool!
  13. Here locally ME is a huge success. I have played 8 games of ME and 3 games of 2k after the new GHB and I have to say I love ME as a format. We even had a great 10 player 5 round ME tournament last week and it was so fun I managed to go 3-2 with a Fimir/Troggoth list. I personally find 2k games a bit hard to keep track of when something like Fyreslayers have 8 heros praying and giving random buffs to everything and skaven is using a billion things to buff their guys. In ME im able to keep track of everything and think better. Even playing 5 games in a day was easy when the games only last about an hour.
  14. A car is cheap if it costs a 1000€ even if you cant afford that you cant deny that its cheap
  15. Yeah I think its just Sigmarite Mausoleum and a new mat to play on
  16. How is that too pricey the starter seems like an insane value to me. Comes with two warbands, core book, and a full board of terrain just buying those seperately would cost 180+ then you get dice and markers and such on top
  17. Everything seems pretty reasonable. The ruler is a bit expensive in my opinion but aside from that good stuff
  18. All you people are fools the correct number one pick is of course Gloomspite Gitz!
  19. How can you be a god of atheism 😂 isnt the whole point not believing in gods
  20. I would definitely put them in order. I love the idea of a super old and very strict society. Maybe they could have elite witch hunters that try to purge any evidence of magic and gods from the general public of their society
  21. So you know how there is no counter to prayers in AoS. What we truly need is a faction of super Atheists who deny the existance of gods even in these crazy times where gods roam the lands. They would have no buffs in the form of prayers and could not use magic but would have the best anti magic and anti prayer abilities they would use science and technology to fight.
  22. Im happy seeing order players complain. They have more support than any other faction.
  23. Yeah I have collected all the 6th edition night goblin warbosses and im hoping to use a bunch in my warcry warband
  24. I dont think the existing factions are getting any starter boxes. I believe its just those cards and then use existing models
