Hi guys, this might seem like a dumb question but I'm unsure about the rules for flying. If a model has a fly attribute can they literally move anywhere on the table? I know they can't go within a certain distance to an enemy... Also, if they fly in round 1, do they land in round 1, and can then charge that turn, or are they in the air so to speak for the rest of the turn, and land during round 2? Also, if you retreat from combat, is there a penalty for doing so? Like, does the enemy get a free hit or something? It seems strange to be able to just disengage? Again, apologies if these are dumb questions, but I'm new to the game and have only played solo thus far! Cheers!
Hey all! I have a rather thematic list I was hoping to get some feedback on. Not looking to drive my opponents before me and hear the lamentations of their women, but also not interested in having a pillow fight if you catch my drift. Annointed on Frostheart 280 Bretonnian Lord on Pegasus 140 Bretonnian Lord on Pegasus 140 Damsel of the Lady on Pegasus 100 Damsel of the Lady on Pegasus 100 5 Reavers 5 Reavers 5 Reavers 3 Pegasus Knights 3 Pegasus Knights 3 Pegasus Knights 3 Aetherwings 3 Aetherwings 3 Aetherwings So theme is flying, but more specifically I'm going to be using hawk/eagle models to represent the pegasi, so it'll be very bird of prey heavy looking more like a wood elf army than anything? Thoughts? Comments? All is welcome!
Hi all, Does the Flying rule allow you to ignore terrain and other units as part of a Charge, or Pile-In? This is not clear in the rules, and is not covered in the FAQ. Would appreciate feedback for ruling at an event. In the rules it could be taken either way - whether it only applies to a Movement Phase 'move', or any kind of 'move'. Thanks heaps T
