This is exactly the same for me and shar'tor. The model is beautiful, but the unit is trash so if like to know it might get a tweak in future, or at the least still be playable in a year before dropping a big chunk of cash on it

The Renders are great too. You still need GW for Magma Cannons and Iron Daemons, though...which is good, GW needs to make bank off Azgorh. I need to buy an Iron Daemon, but I need to know the army isn't going anywhere before I commit more money to it. I say get it in case it goes and you're left with the regret of not having gotten what you wanted. It's the reason I picked up Volkmar when they were gearing up for the Cities of Sigmar book to come out (surprise, he was put up on last chance to buy and vanished almost immediately later) and why I picked up the Warpfire Dragon (it vanished a few weeks later). Now I just regret not buying the Fimir models since I'd have loved to use them.

I don't mind paying premium for a few centerpiece models, but for some Azgorh models you could get two start collecting sets for a "mainline" AoS army. While I can convince myself to get a few premium priced models, all battlelines would undoubtedly consist of proxies. Or would it best to just look at other AoS armies to avoid being beaten by sticks and chased away as a pauper?
Twisted Firaun
These have all been a great help, but I’m trying to stick with GW products for the moment. I have this idea with Fyreslayers but I don’t think it will work, what do you guys think?
forumuser
I sent an email to FW about the Skullcracker and this is the response I got. Hello, Thanks for the Email. I am afraid that the legion of Azghor in general has joined the famed Warhammer Legends, and the skullcracker will not be returning. Please do let me know if you have any further questions! Kind regards, Ben
forumuser
Not a very reassuring response from them and definitely not one I've seen before. I have gotten all kinds of strange emails from Forge World with varying levels of broken English so I don't know what to think. I really think we should start mass emailing them until we get a concrete and consistent answer.
mattbarker
Gotta say that seems very odd. They've only just put the rules and points into the 2019 GHB so to vanish the whole range out seems unusual. The skullcracker has 100% been in "never coming back" status for the last year or more as it physically broke, but for the rest, that's quite unexpected. Qrow
I never expect to see the skullcracker receive a new model, but this warhammer legends part is news to me. If it is the case, it seem disingenuous for them to continue selling the models if there is no plan to support them at all in the future. I'm in the "hammer them with emails till we get a candid answer" camp. Because, again, if they are putting us into legends, then they need to formalise it so that people can make informed purchases. mattbarker
I'm not sure I buy it .. Typo in the name, format didn't match other emails from FW and, they aren't on the legends page like they say. https://www.warhammer-community.com/legends/#age-of-sigmar Dunno what to say, but it just don't feel right. Public Universal Duardin
If true, I'm relieved I haven't yet invested in this army (and solidifies the feeling that FW is it's greatest foe) but FW should in that case be more transparent. It's worse for those of you who have poured a lot of effort and money on the sons of Hashut.
mattbarker
I just ordered a Shar'tor - so if it is, I'm kinda livid!
Qrow
I have a large LoA army, so I will be kinda peeved if they do suddenly make it a legends army. If they do, I hope they at least give the entire army a once-over update and fix some of our underperforming units, instead of ****** us over Edited December 31, 2019 by Qrow

At least it'll hopefully fix a few things on the way. But yeh, will be pissed if they just pull it with no notice

It would greatly soften the blow if they at least updated us on our way out. Especially drazhoath and the dreadquake, they are both so iconic to the chaos dwarfs and they deserve better than their current rules/points. I guarantee a FW written LoA battletome in the art style of Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos would make big money, but they rather leave us to languish in uncertainty. Lobeau
I'll join in by expressing my support for continued love and care of our Legions. Any advice as to what I should focus the E-mail on?

Hopefully That said, expressing interest and passion in the range along with asking about short and long term intentions and rumors can't hurt. If nothing else, kinda just wanna know they aren't going to just vanish from the site in the new year! The more people they know support the range, the longer it'll stay around! They don't have the staff needed to make that kind of thing. They need to support AoS mini's, 40k mini's, Horus Heresy and all of their specialist games. At the speed they work at, a Tamurkhan book would come out in 2026 if they started on it now.

Qcbob025
Look like I will have to hurry to to finish my army before it gone out for good... i had the chance to get a Skullcracker for quite pricy OOP price. I was'nt really active in the AOS gaming last couple months, I still plan to use it for a 9th Age army as back-up... I hope they wait until this summer to put the Dreadquake Mortar definetly out of stock. Don't forget guys that those model were release in 2011, and watching that wave of FW AOS models getting definetly out of stock... i see the prophecy of FW getting out of AOS becoming true... grab your wallet guys and at least buy those product if you still want them to be supported. Money is the only language GW talk :P
eekamouse
I’d at least take a reply of, “Look forward to the Legion in Old World.” Seems WAY too soon to axe them when we just got an update in 2019...?
