    I think the longer period between points avoids knee-****** which is important. Sometimes stuff appears OP initially but can be countered easily once the gimmick becomes clear. This encourages people to think about the meta and their build rather than just blasting everything except vanilla as soon as it rears its head. EDIT: the phrase that’s been censored isn’t sweary at all there, I’m sure people can figure out what I meant 🤣

    Yeah, and with the rate GW are going at the moment I reckon we’ll find 2-3 years being the right kind of timeframe for updates etc. It was more a response to people hoping we’ll be getting new plastics 6 months after a new Tome and Endless Spells. I’d rather any factions other than Skaven got updates in the next year or so tbh, it’s much better for the game. Share the love and all that.

    Definitely, but if that’s the new normal then other things should hopefully come down to meet it, or the undercosted stuff will come up. Hopefully.

    I think the ‘problem’ with Nurgle is that it’s pretty well balanced and appropriately costed so you always feel like you can’t quite get all the goodies in there. Thricefold doesn’t leave much room for anything else, which was fine in 2018 when a GUO really was that immovable hunk of undying rank fat but I think a pair of Terrorgheists or a volley of Skaven shooting could blend 2 in a battle round nowadays. If you think about it, isn’t a Verminlord Corruptor just a better GUO for 80 points cheaper? They’ve got to come down a bit as the top players just aren’t taking them.

    Been running 6 Shootfiends in my Skryre list last few games and they’re rapidly becoming my MVPs. With MMMWP and a Warpstone Spark the Ratling guns are killing stuff before the Windlaunchers get a go!! So brutal.

    I don’t mind them being sold out right now as I was gonna wait for the GHB to start a new project, I guess the question is how long before it’s back in stock. If the painting handle example is anything to go by it could be months.

    The thing I always think to myself is that those tiny little bits might bother me right now but I’ll have forgotten about them in a few weeks and never notice them again. Nor will anyone else. Unless you’re going I for competitions, no one looks at your models as closely as yourself.

    Stoking the hype fire a bit here but a few points drops here and there would really revitalise Nurgle. Daring to dream for 60 point Beasts? Though, tbf, they would probably still be awful!!

    Surely the definition of ‘wholly within’ is beyond any kind of debate or need for clarification.

    Practice and pre-measuring. If you can get into your head what a legal ‘wholly within’ deployment / formation looks like you’ll do it more often and you’ll remember more often. Everyone forgets this kind of stuff though.

    They do look like a great shooting unit, would love some. Whats the verdict on weapon loadouts for Vulkites? Shields in smaller units? And Poleaxes for HGBs?
