Painted up my first Spirit Host. While I had a blast painting him I have to say putting this thing together was a little bit of a pain. Getting all the spirit strands to connect at just the right angles had me saying a few not so nice words. Overall, I was happy with the result so I guess all was good in the end. Now just 8 more to do!

Looks totally awesome! Will steal som colorschemes for my painting.
Maybe paint the sides of the bases a brown or grey hue?
Thx for the comments. Yea I have been vacillating on what to go with color wise for the sides of the bases. I was debating between black, midtone grey or light grey. Think I have finally decided on medium grey.

Loving these, both in terms of fluff and paint job. Great job overall.

Very nice and muted in the colors. It looks like its a pretty neat style to go by. I'm not sure if you're open to feedback, but I would, on very few selected places bring back some saturation into the models. It would help to accent some detailing, for example the small squig on the Weirdnobs face. I'd love to see him slightly more saturated than he is. And the same with the weirdnob's eyes.
Anyways. Looking fantastic!
Thanks for the feedback. Yea I probably need to put in a little more contrast on the key areas. My bad picture taking washed out some of the highlights but I also thought the prophet's face area looked a little flat and needed a lit more pop. So I will most likely go back and try to bring a few spots up a bit more. Agains thanks for taking a look and offering a few words.

Great video. I have been thinking about picking this guy up and seeing the model parts helped. I must say I am still worried about getting those arms to stay. Will have to pin that thing to death.

The Great Horned Rat is pleased. Like the classic red and khaki scheme. Those clan rats sculpts are just such fun models, even after painting over a hundred of them I still get urge to pick up a few more and through some color on them.

Cool color scheme. I have always loved pastels for the wood elves.

The knights of The Order Of The Bended Knee. These are my converted Crypt Horrors. Fed the blood of the Abhorrent Ghoul Kings at the head of the Order these deranged monsters see themselves as pious knights wholly devoted to their task of defending Odentia and the spiritual legacy of Saint Simeon.
