  1. So this is the new sheit for AoS? It‘s already too strong with the Warchanter...
  2. GW does not care about such things and they'll continue to break it and therefor break the game (slaanesh with their massive change of the combat priority)
  3. try to play with randomly generated armies (you and your opponent) that might be more thrilling to new(er) players
  4. How would you beat a big Waaagh! army? I played: 30 Ghouls, 40 Ghouls, Ghoul Courtier, Arch Regent, AGKoRTG, Terrorgheist, 3 Crypt Horrors, King‘s Ghouls, Chalice of Ushoran. - Gristlegore he played: Megaboss, 2x Warchanter, 1 Orc Mage, 2x20 Ard Boys, 5 Brutes, 10 Brutes, 6 Gotegruntas. we played vocal points (4 12“x24“ deployment zones and 2 objectives, each can only be held by battleline and heroes and they grant an increasing amount of points) I took the first turn and grabbed the objectives while screening with my ghouls., I didn’t get off any spell. He charged his ardboys in, 13 were able to strike and he evaporated the 30 ghouls (were buffed by the Warchanter). On the other flank I lost 17/40 ghouls due to luck. Both my Terrorgheist fought twice and killed off half his ard boys (there was still simply no space I could fly to without being shredded in an instant) I took the second turn and made my now +3 attacks Terrorgheist fight twice. This turn I killed all his ardboys but 2. His entire army was hitting on wounding on 2s now then his brutes and Gruntas charged in (+ 1-4 to all charges, because balance) overkilled my General on Terrorgheist by 15( yes 29 wounds) while the gruntas overkilled my Terrorgheist by 10 (only 3 Struck) and killing all my heroes and arch regent. Tabled. that +1 damage is totally busted, he just kills ANYTHING he touches, no tactics or even dice luck required.
  5. I don‘t like the chariots. Imo they look to cramped (another side effect of designing models to fit on a small chariot square base)
  6. 🤔 let‘s summarize what we get (// have) for StD: - Chaos Warriors - 6 Warcry Warbands - Fomoroid Crusher - Sphiranx - the Myrmidon - Mutalith Changebeast - Slaughterbrute - The Harpies and Chickens from the Warcry Box (?) - Chaos Chariots - Chaos Shrine - Marauder Horsemen (?) - Marauders (?) - Darkoath Warqueen & Chieftain - Old Chaos Warriors - Chaos Knights - Sorcerer on Obese, Deformed flying walrus-Cat-Lion (Manticore) - Chaos Lord on foot. - Chosen (?) - Varanguard -Archaon - Endless Spells Imo generic new Marauders would have been amazing as well as a new less generic kit (siege engine/huge monster, Beastmastets etc.) what do you think? Did I forget a unit?

  9. True, but those rules are a bit overloaded ( 1 in 9, 2 in 9 etc etc). Also iron golems are just awful
  10. I know these but I hoped they‘d be streamlined for the game-flow‘s sake. I expect sth. Like this (only one melee weapon) melee Weapon: Gladiator weapons: -Some Values- special rule: as long as -Model with Weapon- is alive on a unmodified hit/wound roll of 6 the Unit causes „Add rule fitting for the adequate warband‘s special weapon here“ this Warband can have one leader per 16/18/20 models. —-> less special models.
  11. I am interested in the rules since not every Warband has the same amount of models, also there are one or two more warbands missing 🤔. 65$ is great if you don‘t have to buy a Warband box twice.
  12. True, since I am working in the broad range of „The 3D Business and 3D Artists“ I think about it likewise. The Space Marines just don‘t look good at all imo, the metallic red looks cheap, the proportions look off and the eyes seem to be way too much apart. 🤔 they should really draw inspiration from the Astartes Shortfilms.
  13. I completely disagree. If you are allowed to take a battalion of Nighthaunt in a LoN Army it would grant you more Battallions, while the units required might still be allies - so no balance issue there. In a Grand Alliance death it would not matter at all since not the battallions are the major power spike but the Allegiance Abilities are.
  14. I am not sold on the quality of those animations at all (which isn‘t the animations themselfs but their assets, lighting etc.)

  16. I‘d be interested since most YouTuber‘s have bad lighting, ugly terrain, bad camera angles and often they have all the issues at once. ... 😑
  17. It drags out the game and demoralizes me since I know that I am wasting time on a crappy unit (worst aelves in the game as matter of fact). 😭🤣
  18. I also hate that you have to roll two buckets of dice and you get only a few successes out of it.

Cutlass: (40 Corsairs) = 27 wounds before armor (81*0.5*4/6) vicious blade: 18 wounds = 44 which results in 22 wounds against 4+ the only issue: 1“ which means you will have at max 20 striking so the resulting dmg is 11. nice waste of a command point. 40 FGG with spears and hold the line) deal 11,388 dmg
