I'd put him pretty much at Nagash's level of power, so 6 spells seem viable. Maybe he has some shenenigans with realm spells (like knowing all of them)

Else: nice Daemon Prince. ruleswise he is expensive and buffs rather useless units (cultists) with an insignificant buff... if his attacks dealt 2 damage each he‘d have a place in the army but right now our entire roaster is too expensive and one can barely fit in another 140 pts (that don‘t serve a purpose and die too quickly). my 2ct =}

The following explains observations I made and it in no way reflects the overall attitude of the community as a whole. there are two ways people tend to build their faction: 1. They buy models that look cool and seem to have their uses judging by the Battletome and or tests with Proxies 2. They try to get one of each box, Test the models and sell whatever is too weak in order to buy more „good units“. by my observation no one in my area ever buys models just for their look and no one wants to have a heap of models that will handicap their own game. just my 2 cents ^^

It might be easiest to simply slap points costs to the subfaction depending on the game size. Some subfactions should cost nothing due to being very close to non-subfaction armies. Just an example: Petrifex: 250 points at 1000 Point battles, 400 points at 2000 point battles Big Waagh! 200 pts at 1000 Point battles, 400 points at 2000 point battles. Fuethan: 30 points for 1k, 50 points for 2k Legions of Nagash: 20pts, 40pts Grand Alliances: Free Hagg Narr: 50 pts, 80 pts etc. Etc.
